I think they should change the scoring system. You should be able to get half points. Like if it is a close round it should be 10-9.5. If a fighter wins the round but isn't close to finishing, it should be 10-9. If there is a lot of damage done it should be 10-8.5 and if the fight is almost stopped then it should be 10-8.

If the Couture vs Vera at UFC 105 fight had been scored like that, it would be Round:

1: 10-9.5 Couture

2:10-9.5 Couture

3: 10-8 Vera
