  • yea, I'd be ballin

  • left and right

    schade is es trotzdem

  • wow... by far the worst sound ive ever heard from a crash! I feel really gutted just watching it!

  • I was sorry to see this happen to you. Crashing sucks. It was a really cool and nicely performing aircraft.

    Respect from Apache Junction, Arizona.

  • definatly wrong rudder

  • Well it looked like a classic nose in wrong stick but nobody who flys an advanced model like this would make such a basic mistake surely.

  • thats a great fucking song

  • the awakward moment when someone behind you says "i got duck tape in the back of my truck if you need it" aha

  • nothing a little duct tape cant fix!!

  • Erro de principiante, acontece.... mandou leme para o lado errado ao fazer a faca.

  • Yikes! There goes a $4,000 motor! Or not? Did the Moki survive?

  • that will buff out

  • It's like ya came in for a KE pass and went wrong way with the rudder!

  • my eyes water after watching this video-i had to remind my self that when ever you take one of your birds into the air there is always that change of a crash, flying is fun but i always breath a bit easier after i have landed

  • My mouth is still wide open...... 5 days later....O_O I would've been jumping up n down like Rumplestiltskin when mad.

  • i cant see the point in paying that sort of money for a hobby that is so unpradictable, sorry to see the crash though was a very nice plane and that engine sounded awesome.

  • Man you just gave R.I.P a new meening : Rest In Pieces

Sry about that, just had to say it.

Really sad about youre model. If that was mine i had been crying like a little baby on the field.

  • Just a little super glue and she'll be fine!!!

Sounded like a car crash when she hit :(

  • Oh man, it looked like that beautiful motor went in first to. Was a nice plane!

  • Skip to 1:13 to miss the horrible music ... wow that is bad. Great sounding motor and nice plane, terrible to see it go in like that. Not sure what the commentor below was talking about, good flying for the short bit it was in the air. Clearly mechanical issue. Sorry for the loss of the plane and hope that motor was ok!

  • Sorry to see that, hope the engine was ok? Looking at video frame by frame, rudder looks to be hard over to left just before impact. Btw isn't this a Yak 54? The 55 has bubble canopy & no turtle deck.

  • Only the Moki 5 cylinder 215cc engine is around $4K

  • what was the cost of it

  • nice engine, terrible music

  • That has gotta suck. Especially since you must have spent hundreds of hours in the building of such an airplane.

  • What a frustrating video, I know trainees who fly better than those guys. The best landing was at 3.40 and the guy had no wheels to land on. The guy with the F86 should have it shoved up his nose, side-ways.

  • any survivors? lol

  • sorry for you man, good luck next time

  • ;(

  • Anybody with flight experience know's, Yak's and Sukhoi's are NOTORIOUS for torque rolls and tip stall's if you dont use THROTTLE MANAGEMENT !!!!! (either plane) If you throttle back in a turn, It will tip stall ! If you throttle up in a turn from low speed it will torque roll ! Witch he did BOTH !! LIsten to the motor in this video. (DUH !!!) I KNOW, been there, done that ! When learning to fly.

  • Jim'll Fix It

  • dam that suck i did the sme thing with mine but i was like 150.00

  • I totally agreed with @sidajili the rudder was turned to the left.

Remember every flight is a test and every crash is a lesson!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Fly safe!

  • I am sorry for you that your machine is crasht.

we Rc flyers know that some times things can go rong .

with or without the best of effords we make, to fly with out crashing.

  • love these people with big money but no flying experience , and if experienced , no skills.... they are a danger to the hobby and everyone around. go back to your PZ foamies for a few more years.

  • Rudder was to the left, definitely. Looks like a knife edge attempt and orientation mistake caused this. Sorry bro... Wouldn't want to be in your shoes... I remember the awful feeling when I crashed my carbon z yak54 due to reversed ailerons. Since then, I have learnt to check all controls before every flight. In every crash, there is a lesson. Just make u always figure out what caused the crash.

  • This is why i dont buy expensive planes!

  • This is why I sell them and not build or fly them.

  • Does any one know what happened to cause this accident was it tx or rx or servo failure or was it pilot error

  • It's not enough to be humiliated in front of your peers but to have one of them post the video on youtube? Nice friends.

  • wow

  • It looked like a near stall followed by torque roll on throttle up the final turn looked to slow ? Man what a nice plane .

  • What a terrible and expensive accident.

If you think only the cost of the motor .......

TommyStokke ...... you must be close friend of the pilot. Usually after accidents like these, they are very angry especcially with those who take video of the wreckage.

  • What´s the name of song?

  • total pilot mistake

  • to sad to see that, yes its a pilot error what i can guess

  • Im wondering if that think torque rolled! How powerful is that engine?

  • Best sounding engine, and to all those critics, don't see you out there showing us how it's done.

  • MacGyver would fix the plane in no time...

  • Too much money between your hands, and too little experience between your ears? Sorry for your loss.

  • What a huge loss, I feel for you. The sound of that Moki is incredible!!!

What kit is this, if you don't mind me asking?

I love Malydilnars comment. Something tells me he is "one of those guys" at the club. You know, doesn't own a plane, never stops talking and critiquing everyone else flying.

My very first RC plane was a Sig XS300 and, I STILL HAVE IT!!! Granted, I have crashed about 5 planes and two choppes since. ;)

I would love to see vid of it's twin in the air.

    Beautiful plane, pal.

  • Respect for not going off on one and offering to stuff video camera up camera man's arse.. it's how we bounce back from these accidents that make us what we are... fricking nuts....... guess lot be said for foamies sometimes

  • Looks like left and right got mixed up somehow.

  • That really sucks.... Did you lose all control? 2.4? Or 72? When you rolled you couldn't give down elevator? Man that really blows. Did it go into fAIL SAFE? i WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING WHAT HAVE MIGHT HAPPEN....

  • all i can say is ouch.

  • Thanks for sharing the video its appreciated!

To all the critics out there saying pilot error, why not just enjoy the vid and appreciate that he shared it so you could all watch instead of being armchair experts!

  • Looked like you got backwards with your roll. That thing made an awesome sound slamming the ground. Cool video.

  • Wow this guy is one of those people that spends all his money on 20g planes and then thinks he can fly after fucking around with foamies on an rc sim. Also servo malfunction is the biggest bs exuse for pulling instead of pushing. Heres some advice: learn how to use your rudder! Btw your stallturn was very pathetic and you were all over the place in your loop. God i hate these kinds of people. We have way to many of these retards at our club, buying 200cc planes while never having a successful f

  • dad sorry something with the toy you lend me goes wrong :-(

  • I did not like this model plane... and I like that this one destroyed

  • when i herd that crash sound my butthole clenched something cronic!!

  • I say pilot error. Bad knife edge attempt at low altitude. Ruder servo breakdown would be recoverable. Sorry about the beautiful plane.

  • had to be the pilot he had no arms.

sorry about the plane, beautiful as it was.

  • horrible sound crash !!!

  • Comment removed

  • it looks like pilot error, yes. but that plane needs an experienced pilot, and experienced pilots cannot wreck such a plane in such a stupid way.

so kinda makes me think it really was electronics fault.

  • Ouch, major suck factor. Hope the Moki survived.

  • its look like a pilot mistake. Rudder was in left position before crash.

  • disorientation problem, probably

  • if this engine survived then I will concider no crash accured to this airplane

  • argh my precious!

  • OUCH .... that one hurt!

  • Downright depressing. I hope the engine and interior parts of the plane are ok, or at least repairable without too much expense. That Moki Radial is soooo nice.

  • Comment removed

  • ohh those moki engines can be expensive

  • not electric faild - pilot faild

  • the engine only costs 2500 euros. thats a bad loss. i wish the cameraman would have zoomed on the owner's face when it crashed.

  • очень жалко

  • tu estas loco¡ sabes volar?

  • OHH SHIT the wonderful airplane!!!!!!!!! Thats Expensive

  • Wow...

  • sorry friend.... as my granpa always said: "God is a wolf always in ambush!"

  • that sound bad!

  • That thing got fucked up dude ! Im real sorry bout the crash... I had an RC b-17 with 4 of those engines and the 2 left engines died in flight... i crashed it but it wasnt to the extent of this!

  • that makes me nervous as hell when someone restrains a plane this way. if he stumbles there goes the tail section. id say its ahppened. but anyhoo back on topic. im sorry this had to happen. did you rebuild or?

  • damn i could slammed my head into the ground if i was me the pilot....

sorry!!!! everybody makes mistake..dont worry pal its part of the game..

  • 1ST MUSIC NAME ?!!!!

  • what a nice aircraft shame .pilot must be to blame .he reduced power on finals .wing started to tip stall final increase in power is enough to send it to tera firma.no correction to ailerons .its easier aafter the fact.......

  • @pianotuner0 that was no Tip stall,im guessing Radio Glitch!!!/ Wonder what radio system he was using?

  • Comment removed

  • @eastcoast78 That looked like pilot error to me. He's on Futaba 2.4ghz. I wouldn't call that a glitch.

  • O que houve?

  • thats a big ass plane to fly with glow fuel......sorry bout the crash, moki is a power house though

  • Somebody call A.C.I.

  • I dont't even know how much are those things but thats why i prefer 1-10 r/c cars :P

  • 2:57

  • Pilot error?

  • I discovered on mine I needed to up the regulator amp output to fly 3D.

Sorry for your lose I know how hard you worked building the Yak.

    Ian

  • Sorry for your lose I know how much effort you put into that build.

    Ian

  • It can be rebuilt.... we have the technology....

  • Remove the innapropriate music and I will watch this...

  • is the engine still working?

  • TOO LOW TERRAIN

    TOO LOW TERRAIN

    PULL UP

    PULL UP

    CRASH

  • Who could possible dislike this video?? Probably the plane equals 1 the ground equals 2 and then they both set up 6 accounts each??

  • It's always a sh.. when this happen. Was it a stall or another pilot error?

  • hahaha loser dumb thumbed it

  • @arado240dd ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!

  • hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

  • ooooo oh shit!

  • that was pilot error, the pilot really didnt have control of it early and the sound cut out and u could hear someone say do u have it and a response of yes, if that was a giltch then why do a loop and u can see he was scared he wasnt going to make it out of the bottom. Shame plane was flying not the pilot, dude practice on a sim before crashing such nice planes

  • One thing that was good in this video, is that now you can get it in the car ;)

  • Great plane sucks for the pilot, great music

  • taliban was on board

  • super glue

  • Sorry for you loss.Hope the motor is repairable.

If you haven't crashed, You haven't flown.

Just a nasty side affect of this great hobby

    .

If you cant afford the crash, you cant afford this hobby.

    IT HAPPENS TO EVERYONE!!!!!

  • Its the new hobby.

    Every week crash another plane.

When the pilot built his rc plane and spend months at the workshop he has more respect for (his and tthe others) property and also knows well his flying skills.

All these expence ( motor and scale particulars) smoking its a real pitty.

Sorry but I dont feel pitty about the pilot. Big Boys Big toys you say? If you have not also brain to accompany the rest, well you will leave soon this hobby with thousent of dollars more poor.

  • was the engine wrecked?

  • that just sucks. luv the sound of that engine

  • That's what I call a properly beautiful plane.......

How much did that one set you back? How much to buy that one second hand? ;)

  • seeing this broke my heart into same amount of peaces :(

  • Come on guys... it doesn't matter if it's pilot error, equipment failure, etc... The most important thing is that no one got hurt.... only Tommy's pocket ! :)

This is part of the game.... and remember: There are two types of RC Pilots... Those who have already crashed and those who will crash someday.... :)

It was a beautiful plane... and I love that moki engine sound !

  • It is a pilot error, if you aren't capable, don't use R/C airplane expensive!

  • Thats not that bad, you still have One plane left

  • Comment removed

  • I dont think we can blame the pilot for this one. If he put in the wrong rudder, there was tons of time to correct it and no sign of trying to save it before it went in. There is also left aileron and up elevator in there. Doesnt make sense to be pilot error, unless he has the reflexes of an 85 year old.

  • Dude thts ur own fault uv rolled to mutch

  • I would like to correct myself, where I input "It's definitely "Pilot Error"". That error is DEFINITELY ME, I can never be definite unless it's me who is the pilot. I will correct it as "Possibly pilot error".

  • OUCH What was the final cost?

  • Any one knows the title for the song in this video?

  • Too much airplane for the pilot, very tentative short flight. One of the strangest turn arounds after takeoff I have ever seen. Attempt at a hammerhead maybe? I agree he was likely trying for a knife pass. Not near enough speed and wrong rudder input. Pretty shakey on the controls especially out of the loop. Should put the other one away until ready for it. Really sad to see it happen. I will say though with something worth that much it will make anyone nervous.

  • @benjaminlann correct that speed looked alright once he throttled up prior to the roll over.

  • i loved the sound of that rc plaine.ITs sad he crashed :/

  • It clearly says electronic failure servo break down 15 seconds into the video. Beautiful plane, such a unfortunate event. Have fun on the next build.

  • Pilot error my ass...You'd have to be retarded to fuck up on final like that..Surely some kind of failure..It's not an ARF i'm sure hes got plenty of hours on the sticks.

  • Looks like a case of dumb thumbs to me!

  • All you people have been watching too many air crash investigations shows!

The only bloke who knows what happened is the pilot, and sitting here in our arm chairs and watching it 100 times still don't make you a chief investigator .

    TRIPPERS

  • i hope the engine is fine ,and there is no internal damage to it

  • i like the engine sound. With the rudder servo blocked it's easy to land safetly. I think it is a pilot error.

  • Damn! Sounds like a shotgun going off at impact.

  • what damage does a crash as harsh as that infer to the engine? replace a couple things or total loss? its enough losing the plane but those engines run a pretty penny...

  • What a beast it was.

  • awww my atlease the co pilot made it through the crash but the pilot who was it it look like he didnt make it sooo said was a great looking plane

  • Mein aller herzlichstes Beileid! So ein geiler Motor wow echt schade sowas anzusehen. Trotzdem HAPPY LANDINGS!!

  • Dude looks like pilot error unless the failsafes were set way off

  • proffesional my ass

  • this thing sounds like a beast!

  • Well for what its worth, I am fairly confident that this is not radio failure, unless the fail safe was improperly set up, as it appears that the elevator is up and the rudder is going the wrong way to recover. Looks like it is pilot error. Sorry to see you lose the plane That thing sounds bad azz. and looked great.

  • Man, that is a sweet sounding engine. Too bad about the wreck.

  • Im not gonna know the pilot because I love rc, but I myself could never put that much money into something that still relies on a electronic servo to keep it in the air. I get that their better quality than my foamies, but still....

  • @CLayaway1 I meant to say "knock the pilot" not know lol

  • looks like 2,4G was blocked by the Engine... some satellites may avoided that..?

  • I agree, pilot error. Hopefully the engine was saved. They don't like to fly slow, especially while turning. You can see as he came around the turn, he had left rudder and added power, just too late causing the roll over. Should have given it right rudder while adding power... I've done this myself.

  • Shame nice plane

  • when I saw it hit, and break, I said,"OOHH, that looks expensive."

beautiful model, sad to see it go

  • NOOOOOOOOO THAT FUCKING HURRRRTS!!!!!!! Why you crashed????? Awesome sound, anyway!!!

  • orgasmic sound!!!

  • Freakin Moki radials just sound cool. BTW that was not pilot error. No tip stall. That was some mechanical or radio prob. Nice plane too bad.

  • Freakin Moki radials just sound cool.

  • Bummer... Was that a krill or Comp arf? I'm not buying that was a servo failure, looked like a tip stall to me. You can see how much elevator he was trying to yank when it rolled over... happens to the best of us. I've stuffed a couple of big planes in exactly the same manner. I he's not going to try any stupid 3D stuff...turn the throws down..

  • Awww damn, that does suck! Poor dude....

  • LOHI !

  • nothing a little duct tape cant fix.

  • dam that sucks ALOT..

  • was the grass ok????

  • ow my goooooddd!!

  • power up lowspeed litle control and the rudders torque twisted it around?

  • at least it was fiberglass imagine if he built that like building a boat i know he would have cried i know i would damn interferience i would have put an autopilot on that but i know that would cost more than the radio

  • R.I.P.!!! 70% looks unrecoverable :(

  • how much is that airframe worth? just the airframe, no engine no electronics.

  • @Fra42below nothing its broken

  • Er dette den Jack farstad i Bodø har tatt over og restaurert?

  • Really just teardropping dude, and a bad thing, this can happen us all..... You just have to take it with a smile;)
