  • My cpu have 3.20Ghz at 34° ...

  • another proof that this is fake would be that its (nearly) impossible to reach 4ghz with a q9400 and with 90° the system would crash for sure. Mine q9400 is running with max 3,7ghz and it starts running unstable at 55°

  • where can I find this program

  • This video is a prime example of how to make a fool out of your self on YouTube.

  • you kiddin me or you think that people who watched this are dummies in pcs ! this si a socket 478 cpu cooler first place then quad core cpus are socket 775 dont try to trick me into this shit ! you rather say overclcoking pentium 4 or celeron on soket 478 ! this si fake !

  • Should i oc if i ahve the folllowing:

    Specs:

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 @ 2.33ghz

    BFG 9800gt 1gb gddr3

    6Gb DDR2 Ram

    Windows 7 Ultimate x64 bit

    built-in 350w psu

Not sure what brand, but my pc serial is m9525f, so if u can find out would be great, as well as answering other question.

  • xaxa .................this is a fake because core 2 quad is s775 and this motherboard is 478...........you are a fuckin lyier

  • fake..

  • owh I see...

    thanks yeah friend...

    ; )

  • ooohh shit.....RUUN!!

  • What i really really want to know is how did you overclock your computer using a graphics calculator? i tryed to find out how on the internet, but couldnt find a thing

  • its gona Xplode , Its gonna xplode , its F*kin gonna xplode

    *****END OF VID*****

    KABOOOOOMMM !!

  • Q9400 is a LGA 775 socket...ASUS P4P800 VM doesn't support 775. It's socket 478 and only supports single core up to PIV 3.4GHz Prescotts.

    Don't know what CPU you're clocking but it definetely isn't a Q9400.

  • not only that, software overclocks are a little flakey. you really gotta do it from the bios. I got a q9400 and have it O/C'd to 3.2GHz, and i wouldn't recommend going higher then 3.4 with the q9400 purely because the cpu voltage has to be over 1.38V to run stable after 3.4GHz.

  • And after all this effort ... you woke up all sweatting.

Perfectly agree with emerald69, expecially for the first line.

    Don't waste our time.

  • 4000 rpm That vent is about to explode !!!

  • wonder what will happen if u put yuor finger in that cooler....

  • wow lol getting 4.GHZ from 2.6ghz is suicide for your processor

  • Im scared to overclock my quad core q9400 to 3.20 Ghz because I dont have any of these instruments and not really sure how to do it.

  • You don't need to worry. This video is 100% bullshit.

You do it through a motherboard bios.

  • learn how to do it threw the bios, dont do it unless you got a a sweet aftermarket heat sink, the one these guys are using is way to small for bringing it last 4ghz i wouldnt even trust it with going past 3 with that tiny sink

  • your a dumbass

for one, thats an old p4 cpu on a p4p-800 asus board

secondly ur idling at 62 degrees celcius without even having the cpu loaded

third, u should be increasing ur fan speed quite a bit to compensate for the shitty stock fan with those clocks

    and also

    bios is your friend

    learn it.

  • Youre go damn right, alot of Real overclockers dont use a windows application based overclocking tool cuz it can mess up your computer and so they dont reccomend it to beginners either. Bios my friend is the best way if you know what Vcore ,FSB and multiplier and some other things :)

  • btw try running a Prime95 for a few hours on that clock speed , i'm pretty sure it would crash and burn up like hell with the stock cooler.

  • Zalman is not so efficient in CPU cooling against other manufacturers like thermalright or the OCZ vendetta 2. Zalman make also too noisy coolers.

  • if overclock mine to 3.20Ghz , i will not need a FAN cooler??answer plz

  • if u want a good fan cooler get a Zalan 9700 or the 9900

  • i just set a big old heat pipe sink with 4 copper pipes and a 120mm it works good for my q9400, cpu idles at around 27c degrees, the ambient temp in the room is 19-20c not bad runs minimum 7 degrees above ambient temp when idle

  • lol my frend has a pedastal fan on his comp :D

  • put your finger in the fan xD

  • This isn't a Q9400 that you are overclocking, it's a socket 478 mobo, an Asus P4P800-VM! so it can't be a intel Q9400!

it's an P4 or somthing els based on S478

  • i'll stay with my Core 2 Quad Q8400 2.66ghz

    TwinTech GTX 260

    it's good to me...!

  • OC to 3.0

right now ur 260 is slightly bottlenecked

  • i have my quad core @ 5ghz and still have 30-40 Celsius... with the power of V10!

  • you have a good cool ing system my cpu is a core 2 duo 2.9ghz at 54 Celsius

  • Shit, 7000rpm, its gonna fukin take off!

  • LOL everyone who is trying to overclock should know that this is not a good HOW TO video to follow...

  • Hahah I wonder why didn'¨t your computer turn into a h elicopter and start hovering!

Also I'd have loved to see your CPU melt by the heat.

  • So...Basically you have a vacuum cleaner for a computer...

  • An aftermarket cooler would be a good investment when OC, I have a ASUS Silent Square EVO

  • You need a hurricane to get 4.2 GHZ.

  • NICE SOCKET 478.. KILL YOURSELF..

  • Sounds like a formula one =D

  • xD 90° xD the noise omg !!

  • lol such a noice xD

  • i have a intel celeron E1400 dual core with a Zalman CNPS9700 cooler... stock clock was 2 ghz .. its now running at 3.2 ghz with a temp of 27-32C i have got it to go at 3.8 ghz with a temp of 40C.. but it was getting to unstable

  • man that sounds terrible

use water cooling system that makes 2 much noise

  • i used a watercooling but not on that.

That CPU was almost f*cked up so...

I tested if i could overlock it to 4,20GHz.

    Watercooling cools better too.

This CPU is now gone, if i used a watercooling, i'm sure i could reach 4,20GHz... (with a very good one)

  • what about coOler master V8?

    Or Zalman CNPS9700-NT?

    and which one is better?

  • hello How2PcTV...

Now My Q9400 at 3.00 GHZ....

But can i reach to 3.80 GHZ if I used Cooler Master Aguagate S1?

    PLEASE ANSWER ME...

  • I'm not sure but I think you can't.

3,00GHz produces a lot of heat.

We have an Intel Core2Quad Q9650. Also 3,00GHz. After 30 minutes of virus scanning, the core temperature indicator indicates 52°C. That's not very high, but it's higher than normal.

I don't think the Aquagate S1 can keep the temperature below 60° running at 3,80GHz.

Don't try, you can only damage your CPU and motherboard

    Greetings

  • For sure, I got my Q9400 to 3.2Ghz 400x8 =\..Ran at 45C!, normally runs at 35(at 2.66Ghz) I've only got the stock Fan, shitty :P I have no doubt that you can make it to 3.80, I wish you good luck :P,

    Peace.

    Daren232,

  • That scares me abit cause i got a Q9400 and a thermalright ultra 120 extreame with a noctual nf s12and it runs around 47 deegrees c.

  • and it runs at factory speeds 2.66Ghz fsb 1333Mhz...

  • hm, that's strange, I actually made it (For 2 Hours) running Urban terror was 38C at 3.2Ghz, but of course, if you're compiling scripts, or some kind of encryption, maybe running some rainbow tables to get free windows keys, it would get a bit hotter, what were you doing when you checked the temp?

    Please reply asap =D, Cheers.

    Daren232.

  • i was just browsing the internet and i had a note pad opened... just basic stuff...

    thanks

  • MY Q9400 with reaper ddr2 1066 runns at 2,93 an the Ram 1100 with a Mainboard Ep35-ds3

But higer can not find the right Settings the Core runns at 34C by Power with 45-47C
