I just got a series of really weird phone calls from a guy named Sterling R Smith. He asked "Who the fuck [I was.]" Then started to narrate words and told me to write them down. "I heard the call on feathered drums, oh universe, oh time untold..." I did and googled it. He called me back and I mentioned Jandek and he said, "You've heard my music?" Then he told me to look up "Put my Dreams on this Planet." Anyone know whats the deal with this guy? It freaked me out a bit. E-mail me please.
This man is a marketing genius. Since 1978 he's been releasing albums (Lps now CDs) and is most liberal with sending out promos. I have his entire catralog which on Ebayu will fetch me $1000+. So who's the sucka, suckers?
