Actually with higher end parts you run more of a risk of getting a faulty device since the manufacturers makes them in smaller batches. Which means they run out faster and in turn have to speed up the proses in order to produce new ones. They really don't care cause the customer will just have it replaced with a newer one, so they get your money earlier rather than you getting another companies product. Of course its worse if its a new high end device.

Hey 2 things , First if you are gonna use only 1 fan you have so put it on the push side !! Which is the side of your memory ! Also ,way to much paste on CPU !!! Use a razor to spread it (don't scratch CPU ) and make paste as thin as possible.. To much paste will heat up chip also !!!
