Just now heard of you guys and you guys have some really nice looking, and unbelievable keyboards. I have a couple quick questions. Does this ControlBLADE have a mic input for vocals? And also you know how the OpenLabs product lets you import your sounds from your previous keyboard work/production stations into it, like pretty much just "dumping" keyboards in the computer I guess... Does this keyboard allow you to do the same?
@DoinLifeProductions - The ControlBLADE has 2 mic inputs with phantom power, so you can just plug a mic into it. We recommend SampleRobot, which is a very good software to auto sample the sounds into the ControlBLADE.
@SilverfangX777 - Yes, but you would have to switch out the entire computer core, BUT...resell value is really high with Apple gear, so you won't lose much money if you do that because you can sell the old core.
@musiccomputing So if I buy an Mac os, can I switch to a windows os somehow? Reason being I mostly have windows based vst. I'm really loving your products , currently saving up for this.
@SilverfangX777 - The best option for you is to buy the Mac OS X compatible version of the ControlBLADE, then you can run "boot camp" and run either Mac OSX or Windows on the ControlBLADE. Another way is to run a software called Parallels which will let you boot into Mac OS X and then run Windows inside of Mac OS X...all at the same time.
@musiccomputing Thanks for speedy reply, I can already tell your customer service is gonna be great! One more would doing what you reccomended, slow down the computer in anyway, or mess with my music making?
Looks amazing! Do you have a 25 key version of the Control Blade Mac?By the way. Love the shirt with the logo Victor, wish you guys sold them on the site!
Now that is awesome! Thanks Victor! I have a StudioBLADE Generation 2 for now.
But I need a 25 key Control BLADE Mac so that I can start using Logic Pro. A 25 Key is about as portable as a Laptop. But it is like a laptop on steroids! I will be saving up for one. The option to have Windows and Mac in a portable unit is ingenious!
