One thing I didn't understand whay they put a picture of a plane that was crashed in Lybia which has nothing to do with the Armenian Genocide and it represents another story in the Los Angeles Times magazine.. WEIRD, I DIDN'T GET THAT PART...

40 midlander has valid concerns about this sign being destroyed as the Assyrian Genocide Memorial in Australia was defaced with Islamic symbols and very sick graffeti. Know this, that sign is owned by the government in this case I believe the State of California. Defacing, destroying it or anything else is met with stiff penalties, fines and even imprisonment for destroying government property.

@Americathebrave100 It's going to happen sooner or later because, as you probably know, Muslims don't commit genocide. It's impossible for a Muslim to kill, let alone commit genocide. Besides, the unarmed Armenians were the ones who "genocided" the heavily-armed Turks. Don't you know? That's the common BS you'll get from Turks and Muslims.

As for protecting that sign, I hope something is being done. I can just see a-hole Turks and others in a room, thinking of ways to deface that sign.

with this event i remember my grand father telling the story of his sister being taken away by the Turk Askar/ soldiers ... thos that lobby against the recognition of the Armenian genocide " SHAM ON YOU SONS OF WHORS" !!!! @777yerevan You are right, my great great grand father was tied to a horse and dragged through Harpoot, because he was military! I feel the way you do and all will recognize that 1.5 million Armenians were killed and others like my great grandmother were left to die. Yet she survived and came to America, married and had 4 children! We all don't carry the Armenian name but the blood never runs cold! Not all Turks did this to the Armenians, but stand up and admit to killing us!!!!

Agree with you 100% not all Turks did this to the Armenians..However the whole genocide was planned by the German gov. My grand mother was rescued by Kurds and Greek's. She was 12 years old when her family were slottered in-front of her eyes where only herself, brother and mom were rescued. He was rapped along with her mom several time by Turks at the presence of her family members. She managed to flee in the desert and gave birth to a baby girl under Kurds tent.

Look, I can respect your positive view of history in light of much ugliness, but you're wrong. EVERY Turk was part of the Armenian Genocide. Whenever you or others post the false claim that not all Turks did this to the Armenians, you misrepresent the historical facts. All Turks were involved in the Armenian Genocide. Not every Turk physically killed an Armenian, but they killed their Armenianness in other ways.

After years she got married to my grand pa who was already married and wife was sold to the Turks. Her mom managed to move to Egypt with her son "grandma's brother" she got married to an Armenian man who was survived from the genocide and moved with the rest to Cairo. He came to know that his wife was killed and the son is in Egypt. When he found his son, he denied since he was stolen by Turks and the son grew up with Turkish culture, so the father went through depression & died

I don't know the area. But has anything been put in place to protect that sign? From the video, I can see a few possible ways to access it and avoid getting caught. You know something is going to happen, sooner or later. I don't just mean buy a-hole genocide deniers. People are sick, one way or the other. You don't have to be a genocide denier to deface that sign. Twisted people come in all forms.
