  • HAHHah the laugh at the end

  • @murdoch2486 do you ball mill your black powder

  • @murdoch2486

how many grams for the fuel

    pressed or hamerd ???

  • @PSPFREAK221155

theres about 20g of fuel in these motors.

and its rammed, with homemade tooling.

  • was that a meal fuel

  • @PSPFREAK221155

yeah, you should never really be using granulated black powder for fuel, it just increases the liklihood of getting air pockets in your fuel grain.

  • Wow looks just like a Zink 902 :D Very nice job you did there! But err, I have a question: Can I just use a KNO3 + sugar rocket engine to launch these things? I like that better than a BP engine... And of course there will be a fuse from engine to the explosive top ;)

    5/5!

  • @mleer58

cheers mate! glad you enjoyed the show!

yes you can use KNO3/ Sugar engines, but if you can get hold of some Sulphur and Charcoal, BP is definately the way to go! :)

  • @murdoch2486

    OK, I'll see ;)

Dunno where I can get the Sulphur from, cause they don't sell this in Holland (Stupid laws)

KNO3/Sugar is a lot easier to get.

But I'll just have a look at the net, maybe I can buy it that way :P

Btw, what did you use for the explosion and tail? It's probably magnesium, right?

  • Ahh the old pyro laugh we all perform :P Good times! Nice work as well mate.

  • @theguywith1face

    haha, the signature laugh! :)

    cheers mate!

  • Great rocket. Really enjoy your vids. I'm just starting out but do you press your rockets or hand ram them?

  • @AlienInferno

    cheers mate :)

I personally hand ram my rockets, as it gives great results, without the added price of a hydraulic press into the equation!

It can take a bit of getting used to, but youll pick up the technique in no time!

    good luck

  • REALLY awesome rocket. Wish I was there :P

  • @pyr0ph1L

    thanks a lot mate!

haha, yeah anytime you are in the UK come along and see them for yourself!

i set off 3 of these exact rockets together in seuence last night, the vids up, if you are interested?

    yeah sure buddy.
