I moved to Calgary from Nashville area back in 06. It's nice country up there. I moved back to Nashville area a couple years later. Alberta would be far nicer if it wasn't in Canada. Don't take it the wrong way but being real country is far different down here than it is up there.

I love this song! I moved to Vancouver from Edmonton for my boyfriend and I sure miss it. Driving through the country blasting country music, country bars, family, friends, fields of land, less people. Vancouver is great, but it's not home :)

hmm, I'm not even albertan but I really love this song. I think for most people, the place we're from is really the most beautiful. For me, I can't imagine living in Alberta because I love BC so much, but my friend lives in Alberta and insists that BC makes her feel claustrophobic. lol. calgary was the first city I visited in Canada. It was in Jan 1989. we were around 9 students enrolled at SAIT for a precareer program. I still remeber the airline carrier "WARDAIR". Moved to Edmonton later. I left Canada in Dec 1993.
