I'm not trying to be mean or anything but female Bullfrogs do croak, just not often. The female is always smaller then the male but you can also tell their gender by looking at their eardrum which is right behind the eye. Males have bigger eardrums then their eye while females have the same size as their eye or smaller. =)

Many frogs dont like being put on their backs. I've found if you close their eyes, they are much calmer when going on their backs, but the second their eyes open, they struggle again. Some just really dont like it, others, it might take them a while to get used to handling before you can flip them tummy up. : ) Basically, if they don't like it, theres no need to do it, so dont do it.

Tadpoles are HIGHLY omnivorous. They WILL take mashed or rotten veggies, spinach, whatever, but given the choice, they will more than quickly eat chicken off a string. The protein is a great help to their development. Its finding a good equilibrium, I think. Nice froggie. x3 I loved the spotted stomach. <3

I had 2 tadpoles. One died (I don't know why), and one....... Escaped from its container, and I have no idea where it is. This one had its legs and the tail was gone, and was very tiny...

They were in my dirty pool (So all the chlorine was gone, don't worry). I fed them a bit of lettuce daily.

There are frogs in my backyard again, so my dad drained the pool. >:l
