  • @krt1390

Grab a dumbbell two handed elevate it vertically above your head, lower it behind your head and lift straight up...Do it until your triceps are on fire...

  • why are you letting go of the barbell at the end of the push, i think thats why the damn weights are clinging, doesnt you letting go of the barbell take all that stress off of your chest so aint that cheating in a way , ? i dont know but im just wondering why your letting go of the bar and letting the force of speed throw the rest of the bar in the air instead of you doing it

  • Good video, quick question: when I bench press when the weight comes down the bar hits the top of my pecks, will that have any effects on building muscle?

  • thanks

  • LOL Sweet dude you used the song Donut City by Eddie Van Halen:D

  • but you're going too fast bro

  • im starting a gym next week and i'm mainly going for muscle in my arms so ill be at the bench press.. do i need a spotter every time i do this? and what else makes your arms huge and strong?

  • have 2 try this out, think i hold to wide atm

  • thnak you man for helpin me out and others

  • Good video man

  • i can do 160 so far. if i do it the right way how much you think i would be able to get up?

  • @HighHatchetman Hard question to answer, its OVER TIME that you see results. If you get correct form down, generally 3-5 extra pounds right off the bat are doable

  • @OmarIsuf cool. sounds good to me. thanks

  • you need more views man

  • What do you mean by eyes underneath the bar? btw i thought that guy in the corner was the terminator lol

  • Thanks....I am in Reha because of my shoulder which has been destroyed because of false workout...now i know how to do it right...I hope my shoulder will heal soon :)

  • Also how old were u when u first started benching?

  • Hey how do u prevent ur wrists from going back wards or w.e. and those 4 steps u told us is how to improve benching rifht?

  • @WhereTheCheezeAt wrist straps

  • Yo, nice Tnation Tshirt

  • @The2010DC represent the nation

  • @OmarIsuf

your explosiveness really makes sense. do you try to put varying weight on different days ?

  • @NewwaveStud Yeah I actually have a whole wave load template on this channel!

  • *bar

  • Rule number 1... Always have a spot help with the bar as you will damage your your rotator cuffs unracking the car on your own! As you are speaking of shoulder injury prevention

  • you look like the actor Brendan Fraser. Speak like one :)

  • i have learn to do every exercise very slowly to build muscles very fast.

  • lol I thought that this was going to be stupid and in the beginning it seemed that way. But after watching this there was a lot of good advice. I'm definitely going to try this stuff next time I bench at the gym

Thanks a lot bro XD and keep the videos coming

  • awww... but I like to dance my feet... it's what I enjoy most about bench pressing :(

  • Man thanks a lot! Browsing the net for weeks to try and find the proper way to squeeze my shoulder blades back and you broke it down the most simple way possible, respect!

  • 4:34 thats what she said

  • These videos are great, Omar! It's been nice to see your videos gearing towards people trying to build muscle as well lately! Thank you!

  • im 14 im 140pounds i just started working out i can bench 150 and squat 225 what kinds of gains can i expect? by the way im a mesomorphic but im mixed in with a little endomorphic body type

  • Depends what your goal is here. There is a good debate on reps VS fatigue.

Do you get more by going slower on the way down or do you get more by not going slower and doing more reps?

Again i said it was a debate because it depends who you ask and what your goals are. Im all for not getting my muscles tired fast

  • Are you gonna make one of these videos about bent over rows?

  • Comment removed

  • Hello, Omar. Been watching your videos long time and liked all of them.

But on this one I have question.

Don't you lowering bar too fast? It seems like muscles not resisting to weight on the bar and there is no negative phase at all.

And when you are lifting heavier weight it seems that bar is bouncing off your chest, it seems like can lead to injury.

I totally agree with you about lifting explosive, but I'm still thinking bar should be lowered slower towards chest.

  • @steefmasterlv there is no 1 way to workout. He is preaching explosiveness here but you are right. Negatives are very important as you can do negatives once your positives have given out. The best approach is balance so when you see a workout don't think its that way or the highway.

  • @steefmasterlv Look out for my video on this! The first thing is that it might look like a bounce but its 100% NOT, I'm just giving a ZERO pause at the bottom. But the short and sweet of it is the following: eccentric work is beneficial but stressful on your nervous system, most people don't know how to gage their own bodies and over-exert themselves. Add to the fact that concentric only work allows more volume and thus more hypertrophy and fat loss without the fatigue and its a winner.

  • nice video omar thanks! but what about incline bench press? any tips on that?

  • @Zyclon3000 Basic difference is that it slightly targets the upper clavicle portion of the chest more, so instead bring down to the nipple line and plant your feet nice and wide! Same basic concepts however!

  • @OmarIsuf i just started benching and i bench 145 (feel pretty weak) i do 5 sets of 7....i really wanna be able to to bench 185 pounds do you know how can i reach this goal?

  • @seasidestrangler831 not 2 intrerupt bt im in 7th grade & i bench 190 well last time i tried was a couple months ago but anyways what u wanna do is do a weight that u struggle with but not to the point where u cant do 3 u have 2 be able 2 do at least 5 of them & rest for 30 sec then start again and eventually it will be come easier so u move on to higher weight and so on but me personally i use resistance bands and i put it around a pole and do chest press and chest fly & it helps me bench more

  • ugh god i hate it when all the creepy dudes are around but gotta sacrifice to look better :)

  • haha goddesses...i lost 28 lbs. hmm i started weight training and will try this.

  • 2:03 Scapular retraction = GOLD! the best tip you will ever need.It works for posture in general and other exercises. Thanx Omar.

  • "Do NOT dance your feet" LOL

  • Beast!! :)

  • But I have nice chest muscles, but still I can do only 180lb -_- So how bug my chest would be to make 250 lbs lol

  • Great job! This video has been a big help to me. cool shirt, thumbs up!

  • you forgot adding to hold down the weight if you wanna increase your strength with lighter weight instead of doing some dangerous weight.
