Correction it is Travel Host not Travel Journal that you will find the article about Little Roy Wiggins and his son on the Hearthstone Interior Design website
Thank you Steelpicker. The only instrument I can play is a duck call but that ain't even in this league even though I can actually play songs on it!!! It sure sounds funny but it works!!! Roy and Pete were one of a kind and I'm so glad I found them on UTube!!
This has to be one of the greatest instrumental versions of this hymn I've ever heard!!!! I didn't know he was gone until just now, when did it happen?? RIP Little Roy!!

I think that George Morgan `s Mr. Ting-a-ling Steel Guitar Man really showcases my father ,Little Roy Wiggins, style of playing the steel guitar.

The steel guitar is missing in today's gospel and country music.

Have you heard the song of Kitty Wells and Little Roy Wiggins The Crying Steel Guitar?
HowardWiggins3 2 years ago
Wow, can I assume that with your last name that you are related to Roy.
Roy and I were fellow steelers and good friends.
I have not heard that song, but would love to. Do you have this record. If so I would love to have an mp3, if that's possible for you.
Let me know and I will send you my email address.
Thanks,
Bill Ferguson

if I recall Roy also played with Buck Owens & Buckeroos before Tom Brumley and Jee De Maness. Great player and so smooth.
