for people think that this is not a good game to play. it is..My dad had thousands of these cards and when ever we were bored we use to go and play this..This is a fun game that takes stradge to win with alittle help from your deck :D You can trade and fight for cards. The new stuff isn't as fun as the old ones that i use to play. so yeah im 14 and i use to play this all the time.. And im not a nerd :D its really fun to play and you can bond with family members while playing to.

It used to be different but now it's 200. But keep in mind that all your best cards won't come up as often, as you are only allowed 4 of any card in your deck. I aim for 40-60 cards. 20 Creatures, 20 Sorceries/Enchantments/Artifac­ts/Instants & 20 Mana. And sort the deck so you have 1 Creature, 1 Spell, 1 Mana, & again, etc.

1/1 creature tokens are in fact creatures, the card triggering the token will often tell you what type the creature is (e.g. put 2 1/1 elf warrior tokens in play: gives you 2 1/1 elf warrior creatures). So yeah, they work as a normal creature

I played Magic first and then Yugioh. They both have their strengths and weaknesses, I think, and Yugioh is a fairly decent game in it's own right, but Magic is definitely more varied and exiting with how many flavors of decks and strategies you can do.

That and color identification. I'm all about the green mana. I never had that feeling with Yugioh.

I have play both. Neither are better, it all depends on the player. Magic the gathering revolves around strategies around spells and sorcery. Which involves deep strategies as well as good deck composition. While Yu-gi-Oh revolves around monster-based combat which includes using trap/magic cards. So guys, grow up, get with the program. Just go have fun with your respective card games.

I discovered MTG in the early/mid 90s, but have only played literally a few times since. This game is fun, but WAY difficult if you don't keep up w. the endless updates of it. A dollar for every new attack/ glossary word in the card text that I've never heard of before... I was told the "M10" cards are the new intro to it. I may keep life simple & stick w/ the old Portal cards.

no, thats the risk of attacking. Monsters that attack cannot block an opponents attack in his turn. So to block, you have to hold out on an attack. Hope this helps.

I looked up Mortivore and it says

Mortivore's power and toughness are each equal to the number of creature cards in all graveyards.

that means that for every creature in any players graveyard you get +1/+1

lets say that you have 3 creatures in your graveyard and the person you are playing with has 4 monsters in their graveyard. that would mean that Mortivore's would be a 7/7. Then lets say one of your monsters get sent to the graveyard. that makes Mortivore an 8/8

The only thing I don't understand is how quickly cards are used up in someone's hand and how you can only draw one card to compensate. I mean, what if you have no cards in your hand, you have to wait every turn for just one card? And can you discard cards? Why can't you fill your hand again? No they do not. If you know what color(s) you want just look them up online. You can try and find a theme deck of what you want to buy from online or at your shop near you. They are many possible things but your best to buy theme decks.

No. Creatures have "summoning sickness" the turn they're summoned, which means they can't attack and they can't be tapped.
