@kgaudry01050809 my dad went to school with medric they were friends until my dads passing in oct of 1981 My dad use to listen to medrics tunes all the time my dad was also a jack of all trades and loved the fiddle , guitar and accordian .My family still goes to willow bunch every summer for fun times.
My grandfather was Robert Grant, born to Metis parents but adopted in the United States. Since Metis are, by definition, a mixed people, I still consider myself entirely Metis. The same way the grandchild of a Mestizo would still be Mestizo in Latin America. Metis pride!
My dad used to do the Red River Jig on our kitchen floor and then he'd get all of us kids going and getting wild and silly. He's been gone now 26 years March 4. He'd be 82 now. Dad, I miss you so much...here's to you!
my Great Grandmother name was Virgina Boyer and she was born in Turtle mountain reservation the lat 1800 early 1900 and moved to Canada but that's all I know about her maybe were related
Thanks for this video !! My Dad was born on Turtle Mountain Reservation in 1925, but he died when I was young. So I don't know much, and greatly appreciated this video.
