True enough, theres also the little fact that the stock TPX barrel isnt exactly a wonderful barrel. Ive picked off people at full engagement distances with a PGP however, and those have very large bores by todays standards but they are at least well smoothed.

The video date is Aug 09, the marker hasnt been out that long by then,,, so I guess no.

But mine did chop a lot of some of the cheaper paint (never had a problem with any midend paint),,, but All I really did to fix that was use some SLIK gun grease on the bolt. The bolt tended to burn through lube and started being a bit rougher.

I had a 8 ball mag... If I wanted to make it 7, I would have taken a ball out,,, but I had it LONG before any cool upgrades. It was pretty much the marker, case, extra mag, barrel plug,,, repair kit,,, that was all that was out

@Alleni215 A laser sight as in a holographic type sight with a red laser dot in the middle, or a laser points out that gives you a guide line as to where your shooting? You can technically put the first one on, but you wont be able to look through it. Yes to the second.

If you take the time to reload the pbs in the clip. The air source/clip was poorly designed by their pneumatic and mechanical engineers. It almost seems like they hired undergraduate engineers to design the marker.

I would go with the TPX if you just want a kickass side arm. the T8.1 is upgradeable into rifles, but as a pistol it is very unpractical due to its c02 configuration

I had to do repairs on Alpha blacks when i was reffing a year back. They broke down at least once a day.

I have to agree, the x7 is a beautiful gun, that is if you want have a tactical gun. My advice, go with the X7 phenom, same gun, smaller profile, and a fall back if your gun runs out of batteries

The only thing different right out of the box is the fact that one has a fail safe if you run out of a battery, as well one is full auto right out of the box too. Not to mention that the phenom has a cooler name (obviously very important) and a smaller profile, (not so important) :)

Thats called double stacked when it comes to real bullets in a real gun. Double stacked magazines can exist in either pistols or rifles. Thats nice that Tippmann designed it with maximum paintball count possible.

@QUAN1999 Thanks, i helped build it. But i was thinking the exact same thing, so i checkout everything. I figured out it was the reballs and the clip. because i was using GenX cheap reballs, they are stickier (best word i can think of) , and when loaded into the clip, they like to wedge themselfves in the clip. i will press the ball release on the clip and only 4 or 5 will fly out the top. But, i never had that problem with paint.
