• ooooooooWUH!!!!

  • that was magnifisant. long live bauhaus... we all miss you. fantastic song, love peter murphy!

  • still killer in the flesh...wow peter still soundz fresh. amen

  • man peter had lost his voice! Daniel seems to have lost something else ...

  • Awesome band ! Seen them live loads !

  • Awesome ! Seen them live so many times !!

  • quality track !

  • More they decompose more they play better

    Gourgeous!!!

  • Amazing makes me want to weep because this band is still the best, I am so lucky I got to seem them!

  • Love this but, Daniel Ash WTF?

  • they get better as they get older

it has that old horror flick feel for real

  • my GOd, you are absolutely right.

  • the only relevant thing to come out of northampton town with some killa basslines...danny ash is style personified still!.

  • All Danny needs is a Chanel handbag and you could take him out to dinner anywhere!

  • @denitopoopy LOL

  • what is the video off of?

  • "Count Dracula!" hahahahaha. Peter Murphy really has kept his voice over time, he belts those lyrics out.

  • Peter is fab.But:Who.Dressed.Daniel.Ash.

Anyways, this video makes me extremely jealous.

  • duerdenn said to me that if you listen to :32 you'll hear someone say "count dracula" I heard it!

  • PurlpleBLueHaze, I heard it too. It was hilarious

  • Yah i guess it was! lol My freind told me to listen closly and so I heard it! lol

  • hey you invisible spirits - I dare you to be real - I DARE you- COME at me I DARE YOU - I DARE YOU

  • omg Bauhaus are awesome

  • Incredible performance from a untouchable, unique band.

  • For our North American cousins...Bauhaus were unmercilessly slagged off by snobbish critics in the music press here in the UK in the early 80s...

They were best appreciated live...easily the best of the "Goth" bands and the most original-Bela Lugosi Dead,Stigamta Martyr,Hair of the Dog-no other band sounded like that-not even Siouxsie and the Banshees

  • This band is fucking amazing! They have lost nothing. This band is one of the best and they have influenced so many different bands of many different genres. Thanx for posting this!

  • "Thank you. We are extremely lucky to have you! AND YOU ARE EXTREMELY LUCKY TO HAVE US!"

    Love it. Love Peter!

Only he can pull off a line like that, well to those who are real fans, and get away with it with praise and agreement. Indeed, we are so very lucky!

    Richie

  • If you listen carefully, he said "We're lucky to have you...and you're extremely lucky to have us".

I love their music, but I'd say that's not a very humble statement. Compare and contrast that with what U2 say to their fans.

  • I think you will find his tongue was wedged firmly in cheek when he said that!

A recent review of the new Bauhaus album in MOJO magazine concluded"Preposterous but this time knowingly so".

So I doubt any lack of humility!-more likely dry sense of humour!

  • 'Compare and Contrast to what U2 say to their fans'? Don't think so. One could care less. The music speaks and as a result they have gained us fans who realize we are lucky to have them. Sorry the band will not curtsy you in between songs.

  • If "one could care less", then logically, their opinion does not matter.

  • I was at that show, didn't bother to head down toward the stage that whole night until the first time I heard bauhaus

  • Daniel. is it really?

  • I was there, few rowsa from the front

    wonderful show

  • to this day I can't understand why this band doesn't get the credit it deserves. You can hear their influence clearly in so many other artists.

  • They're still great after so many years. One of the best new wave bands ever.

  • I'm still trying to figure out how I slept through them the first time I heard them. Peter glared and flicked me off (only pair, my girlfriend were the only sitting down) and I returned it and went back to sleep. Go figure.

  • they can still play it like they mean it!

  • UM ... GARY NUMAN WAS FIRST....

  • BAUHAUS do covers. Get a life. Living Icons don't do covers. THE YOUTH TODAY. NO UNDERSTANDING OF THE CULTURE OF THE PAST. THAT IS WHY YOUR OPINION IS SUC KS.

  • Um, yes they do. Bowie has done many covers over the years. Johnny Cash did a ton of covers while he was alive. Bob Dylan has done some covers. I could go on, but, y'know... no need to rub it in about how wrong you are.

  • You're really not very bright, are you?

  • Ah. Then the 7" single I should be ramming up your ignorant arse would be "Ziggy Stardust", by Bauhaus.

  • Ooops, forgot "Telegram Sam", and "Transmission" - both available here on youchoob.

    Bauhaus don't do covers....tchah!

  • Oh Please, you know what. Bauhaus do covers out of appreciation to their own "legends." Do you honestly think they intented or imagined Ziggy Stardust would get the attention it did? They do it because they are passionate, respectful, and they never take the whole "buisiness" seriously. That's why they work, they leave room for humor, instead of "the gothic veil" everyone has thrown over them. Fishcakes anyone? Or drumsticks with mashed potatoes?

    Richie

  • I'd like to hear Bauhaus do a cover of "Born to Run."

  • for shizzle

  • Peter's voice isn't what it once was but it's a great clip.

  • Not really my kind of music i just wanted to see you go off on the preppy chick....Lmao :o)

  • LMAO YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT REGULATED MEANT!!!!! AWESOME!! Unfortunately that wasn't caught on tape :(

  • @REZN8 I did the same thing. She was saying "God who are these guys? They're all old."

  • Daniel Ash is a guitar god!

  • NIN over BAUHAUS? wow...it's ok. the kid's probably still learning. Trent Reznor and other bands these days would not be as great as they are if it wasn't for BAUHAUS!

  • Thank you! NIN, who I do like a lot, are surely a scion of Bauhaus, and I am sure Trent understands that.

  • Ok if we REALLY want to go back to the first of them all, listen folks, it's ALICE COOPER. He predates the glams, the goths, the Sex Pistols, everybody, pretty much. But for you babies out there, yes, obviously Trent was influenced by Peter...and he was influenced by Bowie, etc. It all goes round and round, and it's all good! :-)

  • that was such a great night, I had so much fun..

  • oh and im going to see them on the 7th of july with nin and IM GUNNA WEAR MY BAUHAUS SHIRT TOO!!! MAN I CAAAAANT WAIT!!!!! im gunna record almost the whole bauhaus concert so check up with me after the 7th to see what songs i put up!!

  • i must admit...i am a die hard nin fan and i must say that they put on a GREAT SHOW EVERYTIME i see them.........HOWEVER!!!!! Bauhuas are the by far one of the GREATEST BANDS TO EVER WALK THIS EARTH!! they are not only the founders of goth but they have influenced soo many other bands INCLUDING NIN!! so with that said.....BAUHAUS FUCKEN KICKS ASS!!!!!AND ARE ORGASMLY GOOD LIVE!!!!

  • Bauhaus rules fuck what you think- Trent was honoured to have them on tour- you should have the same respect you assmunch

  • I want to keep it .

could you tell me where to download it

  • yay

going to see them on wednesday in buffalo

  • hmmmm i saw them loads in the early 80's. pete's starting to sound a bit old now and i think his middle age spread isn't becoming of him.

  • wow! thats an exciting clip for me.

  • *pities jajabinks333*

there you should be some sort of help group for people like that. lol! ;P

  • Bauhaus is BRILLIANT! Just saw them in Atlanta and NIN was great too but Bauhaus blew me away!

  • regulated???

  • I noticed... is this some new use of the word I am not aware of? Did you mean "regurgitated?" Because I've done that on chicks at concerts before. Spewed up all of the colors of the rainbow

  • jajabinks333 must be a small child, still learning. How sweet.

  • Bauhaus sucks live, that part of the show felt like it would never end, I almost fell asleep--ALL I WANTED WAS NIN!! and bauhaus wouldnt shut up!! but then NIN came on and rocked it royally so all was well--FUCKING AMAZING NIN SHOW!!

  • They were the best part of the whole festival. I was right up front for their whole set. I couldn't have been happier.

  • SASQUATCH!!! Oh man this rocks so much! They're BACK and their madder than ever! Peter's gone completely loco! All those crazy antics and poses and that final, brilliantly arrogant, statement. So cool. Fantastic! Can't WAIT to see them live again!
