Yes, they are the exact same thing just without the detachable scope and front piece.

i want to get one ltx really bad mabye ill get one this friday. i am very exited about it to and my friend has 4 so we could play 3on3 and also what rules do u play by?

We mostly play blue team vs. gold team. Everyone with a gold ltx sets it on team 1, people with blue go team 2. Usually everyone gets 10 hit points so the games go fast. So no one cheats, tell them they can't cover their hit sensor or hide it behind their back. This is pretty obvious but sometimes girls do it.

Advanced Rules:

Medics - when a player gets out they sit down until their team medic rescues them and resets their gun. 

Respawn - when a player gets out they walk back to their team base then resets their gun.

Zombies - when a player gets out they become an invincible zombie that cannot run but may tag living players to instantly turn them into a zombie. (best indoors)

The lights, hammer, and reload features make it way more fun than the old LTTO. I even prefer it over the TMB.

This is the best of the affordable sets. The halo gear is getting cheap but it doesn't do team games. I've heard Laser Challenge is getting better to compete with these but still isn't as good.
