I assume we're not talking about the battery for a 96C21, right?

If not, the only way I know to figure out what a missing battery is, is to measuer the diameter and depth of the batter cavity with a caliper, then compare those measurements to a battery size cross ref. chart. If you can take the measurements, I can check for you.

Is there a way to figure out what battery goes in your watch when the cavity is empty/battery missing?

I baught a Armitron watch at walmart in 2004 when i was 14 for $45 took me a while to save the money up but the battery lasted from january 04 till july of 2008 i still own that watch but i spent $90 for the Armitron Skeleton Automatic
