I heard The Stanley Clarke Trio play this tune live at Yoshi's in Oakland last year, at nearly twice the tempo. Hiromi traded solos with Ruslan Sirota, who was playing electric piano. Hiromi and I talked after the gig, and I love her playing in this group. Fun and straight ahead. She knows when to be the star and when to be the sideman. She is good at both, as is Stanley.
