BMW M3 vs 645Ci

the 6 series 645 has 1690 kg, meanwhile the m3 has 1542 kg. so the first comment is shit! not to say that this is a convertible witch is 200 kg heavier than the coupe! so ... tha fact is more power and less weight is always better than less power and more weight! i`d like ptshark to tell me wich one is much more litter than the other! think first than post! good day!

@La1mperium Haha no way 645Cl is even close to 2220kg, even cabrio, thats more than AUDI A8 or BMW 7 series. E46 M3 coupe is roughly 1500kg.

well... The 645(e63) have 4.5l v8 333bhp, and the m3(e46) have 3.2l v6 343... little more bhp VS much less weight...

and the new m3 have now a 4.0l v8 420bhp...

anyway, both great cars... all BMW cars are great cars :)

But, the most beutiful BMW, is definitely the 6 series... no doubt about that!

it is a 4.4 liter engine in the 645, not a 4.5 despite the moniker, and the m3 has a 3,2 liter inline 6, not v6.

from the car and driver website, regarding the 645:

I had a 645ci from 2004, now i have a 335i cabrio and i still have one 316 from 88. sold the 645, going to buy a x5 for now, and latter will sell the 335 too and buy something else, dont know what yet. maybe a vantage. I think u worrie to much with my mistakes. i never do changes in the cars, or races. If they are built in a certain way, is to be like that. I just like them

Its more or less. if i wanted to be perfect, i could search for the exact values and details, event he model of the engine that, as u should know, may change inside the same models (car). I own a m3 and a 650.m3 is faster short distance but on a freeway a 650 would kill it high speed.

The ordinary 645 is faster than the M3, the convertible is much heavier which is why it lost the race.
