Knockoff RTF's: You get what you pay for. Period. I don't care how "awesome" the claims are, or the video displays. You completely get what you pay for. Shit-tastic servos, radio, charger, gyro, and (mostly) plastic swash/head/tail in most cases. The radio's are workable. Programming varies by company. Mostly very limited, if any. They fly. They fly decently, but there is no match for quality. There just isn't when most RTF kits nowadays run you about 2 bills. That's not quality.

yea go spend $400 fuckin dollars on a align heli with no controller. yea rite!! with all rtf kits it just needs some tweaks here and there, And im sure this heli can fly just as good as a stupid t-rex!!! you know what you realy pay for when you buy a t-rex? you pay for the stupid align logo on your heli....Wow is that a t-rex?..... big fuckin deal!!!

@geolopez914 iam still new to this hobby but iam a machinist and i can tell you for a fact you get what you pay for , align has great parts and after market upgrades can we say the same of other brands like clones of the trex etc, or even some other brand names. blade vs walkera for example i perfer the walkera over the blade, i prefer the trex over the blade and the walkera but the all have good and bad points even in the hi end stuff.

but it's pretty easy to get better at doing videos, most causes of repetition are due to poor video planning. ppl don't plan what they are gonna talk about and run into the "ums" or "you guys"

they already got a shit load of videos already made, but my suggestion is to make a "template" of how you're gonna produce your product information videos. for example:

-start w/mfg + model name in big and clear font in the beginning

-360 deg camera rotation of product (hint, most ad agencies just use a lazy susan from ikea, wire it up to a motor)

-shots of the controller

-outdoor flight shots

-talk/show about features at the end

-etc u guys are practically there

I have a question. I got the same helicopter. and i crashed it the first day. But it is all fine and nothing is broken. But i was wondering. When you turn that black crank thing in the motor that spins the tail rotor. Are the blades on top of your helicopter ment to spin?

As a beginner in this hobby area, this is all new to me.

I flew my Dynam Erazor 450 yesterday. On landing, the tail rotor touched the ground, broke off and sent a piece thru the main rotor, delaminating it.

It was spectacular, and noisy, but the chopper survived without a scratch.

Would you recommend extending the tailfin to avoid tail rotor ground strikes?

I am thinking of doing this as part of the training gear setup.

im having problems with my e-razor 250 tail. The tail is head locked very well during hovering, but when I punch the throttle, it drifts out of center. This would cause huge problems when trying to do 3D. The tail servo seems very slow, perhaps that is the problem? Or maybe the Revo settings need adjustment? Any imput on how to fix this?

Revo mix must be disabled when using Heading hold

Changing the Servo or invreasing the RPM could help

I can't believe I ordered something from xheli... but... This 250 size CP helicopter looks cool. I've read some forums and heard the servos aren't that good(so I will replace) and of course I got the receiver ready version so I can put in my own Spektrum RX. Hopefully it flies well...Sadly I don't really epxect it to...I'll have unboxing and flight vids once I get it.

@CypherAurora Even the most realistic simulator cannot emulate real life. There will be some subtle difference, but if you are able to fly well in the Sim, then you will have the basic skills to fly out of the sim

Hi Tony, I just bought the erazor 250. I like it is my first heli so I crashed It pretty quick. I put it back together and now when I get it in the air it automaticly turns counter clockwise I've adjusted the trims on my transmitter and that isn't helping. Any suggestions? Thanks

question.....i just got my 450 delivered to me after like a short test flight i started to smell something burning....minutes later i c smoke coming from the esc and battery connection, after flight testing again i hear no sound when i connect the battery to the esc....but light on the gyro still change from red to blue.....then i try throttling up, nothing from the motor, only the collective starts to move...can anyone solve this problem?...

You should practice on a flight simulator before trying any 3d maneuvers. This way it can build up your coordination and confidence
