Thanks very much, Nikahnskwew. When I sang that version of the song, I was actually surprised at how it sounded myself. That was earlier in my learning curve about singing. I felt so good singing that, although there are some imperfections, especially where I should have breathed at two places near the ends of verses, and where I started a little early on the refrain. I can technically sing that song even better now, but I don't know if I can recapture the feeling of my first singing it.
I've always loved John Denver... his music... and I never knew about this song and tchaikovsky's..... I am absolutely floored and I love it. thank you for posting it.
