I have been playing eruption for years so I knew that thing backwards and forwards. The thing that kept me watching you was that you really did your own take on it. I mean it was billys style not just a cheap copy. I saw eddie in concert play it and discovered that all those licks I tried so hard to master were just the licks he played that day lol. crap He just went all over. and so did you a bit. Cant wait to see you a few more years down the road.

I just turned 14 and I can play eruption it's actually fun wen u get the hang of it and for fff555fff666 the fast picking is called tremolo picking search zakk wylde and click on the one that says epiphone guitars and it kinda explains it

dude ive been playing for a while ive got speed on my fret hand but i cant get my picking speed up. how do u pick so fast(im not talking about when he does teh hammers and pulls)

i found that it was easier if u:

a) Practice for a straight 5 hours (not very practical)

and

b) pick it near the bridge because the string moves alot less.

A good start! Has talent... but where to now? Study some eklundh,  get a voice of your own, I warn you do NOT get stuck on playing someone else's stuff; you may never find your own... most don't

your finger go the right places, try putting them the wrong places ~10%, as these will be new sounding, try to get noises elsewhere like that RATM guy, just keep the guitars strength; ryhthm and polyphonics, check out the "polar nights" live intro, and JMH's Band of Gypsies
