i had this exact same pad a while ago, sold it as fast as i could. The polycarbonate arrow panels themselves make it bendy, and one had to toe step to get good reading from the arrows. In between the arrow panels, theres also a thin metal that does not move, that really interferes with playing it. I hope they sell something exactly like the arcade pads.
I'd try to get 1. some two-sided tape and 2. some ductwork aluminum tape. you just need to figure out how many strips of 2 sided you need, then you put the foil tape on top.
I just bought a ps2 + the exact same mat on ebay lol, and the guy said that a couple of the arrows aren't working but it should be pretty easy to fix...but now i'm a bit worried =(
Try cleaning the metal parts where the arrow is useing a wet soft cloth and then drying it very well take your time doing this. And all so if you cut out some form to the right size and put it around the metal where the arrow sits it makes it better this should help people out. It works for me.
get a tester (ohm meter of some sort). Easy to trouble shoot, but then again, I'm an experienced electrician. Im actually getting one of these soon, so ill drop by again sometime. Thanks for the video.

i would stay away from the tx's and invest in the cobalt flux instead. they are super duty and ultra sensitive

especially when you actually put any type of coin under the cobalt flux arrows. It has such good sensitivity and has the right snap to it

i bought the same exact mat but with a bar and had the same problem.
