  • 5 pounds and u think 5 minutes is a long time go to Florida troll a reef with 15 pound braid with big plugs and see how long it takes u to reel in a kingfish

  • @trophyfisher13 Yes it is considered animal abuse and I do NOT do it myself. I am an official weigher for the BASS circuit so I see people doing it all the time. Busted 19 people this year already for it.

  • nice fish man!

  • @aNzBoi100 Thats really cool but this is a BASS video. Now perhaps you will look at the related vids and see that a few down on the list there is a video of a 500 pound goliath grouper. Go post your same comment on that one and see some feedback haha.

  • People are funny. If all you guys who say its not 7 pounds have ever fished a tournament, you know of a little technique called weight poppin which is where you put weights down the fish's throat and makes em gain weight. Its illegal but works. Im NOT saying they put weights in the fish but i guaran-damn-tee you a fish that big has swallowed a number of weights in his life. Plus, calculating a bass' weight by appearance is the biggest mistake you can make.

  • @davidsonbasser not only would it kill the fish, you could be caught for animal abuse. i hope you know that. im gunna be a wildlife reserve when i grow up. but im still doing tournaments for sure!

  • That's a beautiful bass and easily 7 lbs, I'd guess bigger. You have every right to excited about a beast of a bass like that. People who trash talk are jealous, they're not able to grasp what it's like to catch quality fish like this. They just cast their stupid shiners out sip on the wine coolers watching the bobbers and dreaming of fish like these.

  • Every once and a while I catch one that size. always a real treat.

  • nice bass

  • thats a beast!

  • that is a monster. Maybe one day I'll catch one that size...

  • Shouda ate that motherfucker...

  • thats nice eatin

  • Even if its not 7 pounds still bigger than any bass iv ever caught. Nice fish

  • nice bass bro....glad you released it. Screw all the haters with their negative ass comments.

  • wow nice bass

  • thats a really nice fish

  • that is not a 7 lb bass hahaha u abviously dont know how to fish dumb fuckkkk

  • @babybeastvman yeaaaaahhh it is....

  • @babybeastvman you're an idiot. that fish is easy seven. i guarentee i've caught alot more seven pounders than you have. nice fish dude.

  • that is not a 7 lb bass hahaha u abviously dont know how to fish

  • when you hold a bass over 6 pounds up by the mouth like that it breaks their jaw

  • @TheTexasOutdoorsmen you're an idiot

  • a buzzbait can be topwater, not a spinner. and a bass can live 30 minutes out of the water

  • @AthElitenmb1 First of all, I dont think a bass can survive for thirty minutes out of water... And even if they can, that doesn't mean you should have them out near that long. Keep them out for two minutes max and thats even pushing it. If its hot outside, make it under a minute. How long can you hold your breathe underwater? Same concept.

Not trying to fight, just wanted to make it clear for all people that see this, so bass get returned safely

  • Why do people always go like GOOD FISH BUT I CAUGHT A 14 LB BASS GOOD FISH ANYWAY THOUGH. Annoying.

  • nice i remember when i caught my big bass it was 12.3 pounds put up a good fight too congrats

  • how can someone say that this is not a 7 lb bass? It is easily somwhere between 6.5 and 7.5 which would average out to be 7 lbs for those of you who are a little slow.

  • don't listen to the haters. legit 7. thanks for releasing.

  • dude that is nothing to what i chaugh i chaugh a 30lb gag grouper

  • nice bass dude, not to long ago i caught an 11.5lb bass out in the everglades, but nice catch bro!

  • DAVID BLAINE??

  • nice fish!

  • Thats a hog!!

  • Comment removed

  • that aint nothin, i caught a 45 pound drum from the coast i might add, and i caught a 6 pound bass..........when i was 8 -.-

  • yeah, nice fish but it's not 7lbs

  • how long was the bass?

  • Awesome fish! Thanks for releasing it! You could have a taxidermist make you a mount for that fish. All you need is good pictures of the coloring, and the measurements, and you have yourself a copy of what you caught without killing a big bass such as that. Good stuff.

  • nice fish man!! that's definitely right around 7 lbs

  • chill out if he does release itll be fine fish can live up to 8-10 minutes on land they can actully seem dead and be brought back to life

  • u got some little girl titties bro

  • Are you sure it wasnt 7 ounces?

  • @beboposaur lmfao wtf?

  • awesome fish bro!

  • sry bro thats 5 lbs..

  • I caught a 7 pounder in Michigan and didn't get that mounted why would some people commenting say to get it mounted?

  • I just caught my first biggest largie too! a 4-5lb. Waiting for a bigger one to mount it!

  • nice catch.

  • Nice Fish? May I ask where you live (what state)? I'm not a homo stalker, just curious what geographic area you're in. thanks

  • Please tell me you didn't lay it on the hot freaking asphalt pavement to take the hook out. It looks like you were about to lay it on the pavement when the video ended. If you did do that, you really are a dumb ass. I'm hoping you didn't. Nice bass.

  • Nice catch, man. Florida bass seem to be more of a darker color, or is it just me? I'm in Oklahoma and the bass I get here are mostly a shimmery green with the thick dark lateral lines. Anyways, hope you catch more like it.

  • nice fish. i just caught my first 7 lb bass yesterday along with two 6 lbs. i caught a total of 12 fish. its a 40 acre farm pond that hasn't been fished in years so im loving the fish. hahahaa

  • nice fish but thats aint no 7 pounds mi dad caugt a 6.8 pound bass it was 2 of thats

  • not no 7lb bass only 4.8 maybe 5

and if it took u 5min to pull it in u dont no how to fish cause my 7lb bass took 30sec to pull in on 8lb test

  • @4everfishman you are retarded.why is everyone hating.damnnn its a fucking 7 pounder get over it!!!

  • @Mike239Jones you retard cause it looks like u no how to fish!!!!!!!!!!

  • @4everfishman obviousley you know nothing about me.just because i skateboard dosent mean i havent been bass fishing for the last 16 years of my life.stop hating dude.get over it

  • thats a bitch fish comparred to our mid west catfish

  • catfish suck

  • that is a 5 and a half at the most

  • ur a moron. thats def bigger than 5. hes about right on target witht eh weight. its about 7.

  • ya right i have fished tourneys my whole life, and there has never been a 7 pounder that small. That is 5 at the most.

  • NICE BASS THATS 5 POUNDS

  • um dude thats more like 5, way to skinny to be a 7,

  • its a solid 6 atleast. give the guy some credit.

  • Why don't you chill the fuck out? I released it once I took the hook out and watched it swim away...dumb ass.

  • Nice fish, The brightest hottest part of the day is the best for the big bass, They are visual hunters and prefer to see thier food in full light. For sheer quantity the morning and evening is best

  • You released it after you watched it swim away????

  • hahahah good call

  • @kfm05

i cought a huge ass mud catt fish in a pond by my grandpas it was 12 lbs i had to pull it out the water to get the hook out it flew back in da water

  • @kfm05 I don't know what it is with all the people these days. If you keep a fish out of the water for more then ten seconds, they jump on you. No one takes the time to admire the fish anymore.I'm glad to see you still do.

  • NIce catch and release!

  • @kfm05 nice fish

  • @kfm05 even though it swims away it doesnt always live

  • @alishabarstow i wouldnt let it back in the water who doesnt eat bass?

  • @wilddanny1andjessie who does?

  • @se4side094 a lot of people where im from

  • @alishabarstow or you could eat it

  • @alishabarstow It want die

  • @alishabarstow shutup i woul;d hjave chopped its head off rite there and gutted it

  • @alishabarstow How bout you go fuck yourself? The fish didnt die

  • @alishabarstow lol, im guessing you are not a fisherman, if you were a fisherman you know a bass can live out of water for a decent amount of time without dieing -.-

    p.s. dumbass dipshit

  • @alishabarstow they can live out of water for more that 30 seconds u know

  • @alishabarstow Have you ever caught a 7 pound bass for the first time? OK asshole, chill the fuck out, it's a fucking fish.

  • Nice bass! Dude thats not 7lbs. I'll give it 6. Was it over 23in's? Shouldn't have took five minutes to reel in.

  • what spinnerbait is that?

  • hope you guys ate it

  • Sorry man, but i'd say that was in the upper 6's not the sevens. That bass has the potential to be 7+, but it was just a bit too skinny. Maybe an old fish that was going to die soon. I have a rapala scale, and they're known for being a little off. Even their bump boards can be inaccurate. Very nice fish nonetheless.

  • @heartlesspinto that thing is 7 ur just jealous cuz u have never caught on that big

  • Not jealous at all. It's a very nice fish, and he should be very proud of it. I just think it's a bit too skinny to be 7+. It definitely has the length and mouth size, it's just lacking the body mass. That's why i said it's probably an old fish. The older fish are long, have large mouths, but are skinny. That fish probably didn't live much longer.

  • dude that looks bigger than 7

  • 7lbs!!! yeah right! lol

  • ummmm.....yes it is.................ding dong!!

  • youre supposed to keep i in the top of the water!!were you jigging it???

  • all you haters are so retarded!!!Nice catch man!!!

  • I say great job. I'd be posting a video of my best yet too. Which is... about 16 in. (2lbs?). The invisible scales can be ordered through the department of defense but you have to have a security clearance and a concealed scale permit.

  • That bass is all of about 5lbs

  • how do think your hung on the bottom if a spinner bait is topwater?

  • i strongly agree, this guy isn't that bright on fishing if he thought he was hooked on weeds

  • spinnerbaits arent topwater thats a buzzbaits thats topwater

  • @specializedp1rider76 spinnerbaits= Topwater

  • a spinnerbait isnt topwater dingdong

  • @oddvious1 he never said it was did he?

  • @oddvious1 thats right!

  • @oddvious1 dingdong thats to funny

  • @oddvious1 it can be you jerk-off

  • @BlueTigerPs3 it can be burned near the top of the surface, but the original title was topwater spinnerbait bass or something like that. He even said he thought he got caught at the bottom..keyword bottom. And blue tiger..you're moron.. a spinnerbait isn't topwater, that's why there's a thing called a buzzbait. SO SHUT YO FACE AND REFRAIN FROM MAKING RETARDED COMMENTS ABOUT FISHING WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT, at least based on that reply. haha, idiot.

  • @oddvious1 and thats like a 4,5 not 7 holy shit not even close to seven and nice comment haha

  • @WVSportsmen ur fucking stupid.. thats every bit of 7 pounds. just because you cant catch shit except for little blue gill doesnt mean you have to be a shit head

  • @oddvious1 you tell that retarded shit!!

  • @BlueTigerPs3 no it can't douche bag

  • lmao i cant believe someone thought that was 2 lbs hahahha, never in my life have i seen such a nonsense statement.

  • ive caught a 7 pounder about the same size as urs

  • Hey sweet largemouth man! Nice Job!

  • thats not seven pounds, and that took you 5 minutes to reel him in, i caught a 9lber and reeled it in, in about 40 seconds

  • I weighed it with a Rapala scale, twice. Both times the hog weighed in at around 7.4lbs. And yes, it took me about 5 minutes to reel him in because he got tangled up right before I could reach out and net him. Why would I lie? There's no trophy on Youtube for me to win...

  • true, my mistake, what were you using

  • nvm

  • dude, u dont know shit. The time it takes to reel a fish in, is completely dependent on the tackle you are using.

The lighter the tackle, usually the harder and longer the fight. The heavier the tackle, the shorter the fight.

Stop trying to act like you know fishing, you dont.

    P.S. Fish and let fish

    .

So stop trying to act like you know so much, you really do not.

  • well considering i won over $1,000 in new england tournaments i think i do know a bit what im taking about, and it does matter what size the tackle, you can catch a 40lb striper on 12lb test if you know what you are doing, and the rod i caught my nine on was medium action graphite 6"6', it was thin, and i only had 6lb test on the reel

  • very true cuz my friends aunt was trolling with a 6lb line on a medium action rod and hooked an unexpecting trophy muskie 50 in....no lie....off in Lake milliacs fyi its in MN one of the most famous lake up north.

  • nice man, my uncle is obsessed with muskie fishing, he moved up there just to muskie fish and he is insane!

  • jesus christ

  • thats like a 2 ponder

  • If that is 2lbs to you, than I guess I'm no heavier than 50lbs myself...haha, 2lbs, wow.

  • 7 lbs sounds right. look how fat that thing is.

  • 7lbs my ass

  • hmmm probally 5lbs don't lie

  • Why would I lie? Please tell me. I'm not competing for money or a trophy. I weighed it in and that's how much that thing weighed. Nothing less, nothing more. But let me know where you bought your invisible scale! Thanks...

  • @kfm05 amen!!! jealous people make me laugh.

  • @kfm05 Dude, dont even listen to this retard. That is a legit 7-pounder. People get so hung up on the size of the fish because it is most likely bigger than any largie they ever caught. Well done brotha!

  • @geehestop looks like 7 to me

  • @geehestop yeah dumbass definitely not a 5 pounder you retard

  • @geehestop To long to be 5lbs

  • did you release?

  • Yes sir

  • yeah thats close to seven every one freaks out when they see the vid lol its his fish he held it i think he has to decide

  • yeah, that's a nice bass, if he says it's seven, it's seven.

    nice work bro!

  • thats like 5 pounds faggot

  • your dick is 5 without the pounds

  • keep it out of the water and then lay it on the pavement.....nice.........?????

  • Maybe he's gonna mount it.

  • Comment removed

  • lol i been using a gold/blue skitter pop caught like 12 6-10 pounders :)

  • THAT BASS IS ATLEAST 6

  • be happy for a lying motherfucker? get fucked dickhead

  • that fish is MAYBE five and a half six! no seven

  • Sick Fish!

  • Sweet catch - did you release her? Where are u from or fishing in this video?

  • Yeah I agree...

  • why are some of you hating on this guy catch? I say 7lbs or not, this is a D@M good catch

  • Nice fish

  • not 7lbs. check your scale..... ill send you some pics of 7 lbers......

  • I've been reading some of the other comments and it's amazing how weird some people are.

    Anyway nice bass dude!

We only have smallmouths in S.E. Idaho (and even those were just recently introduced) but I've caught largemouth in other parts of the country and they're a blast.

    Fish on!
