This film, like absence of malice, shows journalists/reporters for the fooking lying scum they are.

For anyone who's ever worked for a newspaper, and perhaps have been laid off by the dying industry, this movie will have more of an emotional impact. It works as both tribute, and farewell, to print journalism.

It captures papers at time when corporations are taking over, and ad revenue's down, and papers are laying more and more off, and corporate puts money above everything, even journalistic values. But in that atmosphere, as readers are going to the web, the vet reporter knows what to do.

I agree with your review. Mom and I saw this movie this past Friday and we had no idea if it would be good or not - but we loved it and thought it could even be the best movie we've seen so far this year.
