  • would love to see how england could link up farrell at 12 and tuilagi at 13

  • mainly, not his dad. who is the greatest player ever. hope he gets there

  • could you have made worse highlights, ur fucking dumb videomaker

  • I agree with utuberlol. Doubtless, he has talent and can kick but I'm not yet convinced by Farrell.

  • The point is that he's a class act at flyhalf or centre even if he doesn't personally set the world on fire, wilkinson didn't and he's gone down as the greatest ever english flyhalf and rightly so...

  • @vegatablesouptom Wilkinson could run score tries, pass well and probably the best tackler at outhalf I have ever seen. And farrell can just kick.

  • @kevclare Yeh and so can Farrel but like I said his running game doesn't set the world alight...his kicking and core skills are very good admittedly his long pass is shorter than wilkinsons and I've never seen a player run through him so he's strong defensively (He's no wilkinson granted) and unlike wilkinson this guy is tough as nails...

  • @vegatablesouptom "unlike Wilkinson this guy is tough as nails??" What the hell are you talking about? Do you know who Jonny Wilkinson is?? He came back from so many horrendous injuries and was still world class, he's also one of the best defensive fly-halves ever! Get your facts straight!

  • @boobyrooberts I meant in the sense that he's not fragile like Wilkinson which your reaction proved...wilkinson did come back from loads of injuries (hence proving my point that he was fragile) and clearly you haven't read my previous comment that farrel is "strong defensively (He's no Wilkinson granted)" so get your facts straight before you insult me...not to mention I get the feeling we're singing from the same hymn sheet so to speak here but we're singing different tunes...

  • Is he only known for his kicking?

  • im not sure any player selected for england can set the world alight

  • u guys are ridicoulous i think you people forget he is 20 years old he was voted premiership player of the month cuz he is an amazing act he rarely misses kicks he has the most relaxed mind when he's playing and knows what the fuck he's doing.

  • @utuberlol you have completely contradicted what your doing by watching nh rugby videos and then commenting saying you think its dull and boring. why bother. nobody needs your opinion

  • No hate towards Farrell but thinks why NH rugby is so dull and boring. 85% showed him kicking, wins games, but you've forgotten the tries and the back line plays. It's so dull and boring and I find it funny how a player that can kick is deemed to be an amazing rugby up north but down south they can kick and effectively play rugby....

  • @utuberlol Very true this... We have Owen Farrell, good player yes but Australia have, at a similar age, James O'Connor, who is a much better talent. Also under the age of 25 they have Quade Cooper, Digbe Ioane, David Pocock, Will Genia, James Slipper, Ben Tapuai etc, all of which have the potential to become world class, and im not sure players like Farrell will exactly set the world alight.

  • Don't get me wrong Farrell is an amazing player but I can't stand the attitude he put across when he's playing, he could at least try to smile or make it look like he's enjoying himself (so far the only time i've seen him looking like he's enjoying himself is at 1:27 of this video)

  • @termite295 this is a dull boring video, I can agree with that. However you cannot simply say NH is boring by watching this one video. 8 NH tournaments, 80 teams, and more registered players than SH. You can't call all of them boring by watching a 1:41 video.

  • @termite295 Dude there is a difference between not enjoying your rugby, and being focused for the full 80minutes. He only smiles when he has a break, a release if you must. If he wasnt enjoying it, he couldnt be playing so well

  • Haters gonna hate

  • There's a lot of haters commenting here, doing their best to sound impartial and failing. Tigers and Saints are not the teams they used to be, forget about the world cup and the poor start, there's a change happening in the premiership and there's no reason for Farrell to go elsewhere, especially with names like Smit, Burger, Stevens, Borthwick, Botha, Brits, Wigglesworth at Saracens. Somebody commented that his dad pulls the strings - couldn't be more wrong.

  • When Farrell plays in a team that doesn't have at least 70% forward dominance then we will see how good he is. People seem to forget Saracens got smashed in the Heineken Cup last season and showed they are very consistent but sometimes lack in the big knockout games although they did win the League. He has a very, very good back row to protect him and wouldn't have that outside Saracens and their incredible good organisation. Give him two years then England can come knocking if he's still there

  • Farrell's a nob. He won't get in the England team this 6 nations that's for sure! Considering he hasn't been playing Fly-Half week in week out this season, you can't say that he is a quality 10. Charlie Hodgson has much better game management and tactical kicking skills, as well as some of the best hands in the Premiership which is why he is playing Fly-Half for Saracens. In my opinion Toby Flood should start at 10, with Tuialgi at 12 and Jonathan Joseph at 13. Great balance there.

  • @TheFakeAssGangsta1: Look how young he is.I think for his age, he has been performing immensly against structures MUCH bigger than himself. Credit to the lad for his great kicking and tackling this season. Saracens's Coach Mark McCall is doing the right thing in letting Charlie Hodgson get some games in as Owen Farrell is still just a kid and doesn't want to annihilate him with all this uneeded expectation already thrusted upon him, imo. Let the kid learn before shooting him down in flames I say

  • @treenut999 Wo, wo, wo, wo. He made one really big/late hit on Trinder against Gloucester and now everyone is praising him for his work in the contact. Pipe down and think about what he actually does. I think he should be made a fool of, get a beating and then humiliated, see how he responds to it and what character he shows, instead of getting everything spoon fed from daddy Farrell. He'll be a better player for it. All this talk about him is doing my head in.

  • @TheFakeAssGangsta1: The lad is 20 years old. What's your beef with the kid? Words of 'He should get a beating and then be humiliated''? suggests this is more of a personal comment......Sounds like you're one of the Gloucester players? Admittedly, I was not on the pitch or at the Gloucester game, so cannot comment as to why Owen Farrell seems to rub people up the wrong way.....so please, enlighten me.....

  • @treenut999 If you look at what I said, it says "See how he responds to it and what character he shows". Nothing personal, I just think he has been given so much that he needs to be tested and then we will really see what he is made of and how good he actually is. He has had one season in the premiership, with lots of starts, but do you think he would of had the same success if he didn't have the old man pulling some of the strings up top? He thinks he's god's gift after one season.

  • @TheFakeAssGangsta1: Hmm, true, my bad. My quotes of yours did sound a bit out of context. I see what you're saying about just one season and all that. That's why I'm worried about the likes of Christian Wade,George Ford,Jordan Turner-Hall,....Just hope they take their time in the Premiership and not get stifled by the haters like what happened to Danny Cipriani.

Thing is, with all these starts Owen has had, Sarries are still flying. Imo, let the kid continue to shine, without the haters..

  • @TheFakeAssGangsta1: ps-People used to say the same thing about Cesare Maldinin and Paolo and Frank Lampard Senior and Frank......Nepotism would have been eradicated out easily. It's Premiership Rugby ffs. You will get found out otherwise....

  • Terrible choice there, all Farrell does is kick the ball well and make a few tackles when his back-row aren't covering him. I do find it funny how everyone is rating him to be an England prospect and then complains about the current England team's lack of flair. Farrell's got none of it, just like his dad showed after converting to union

  • @Sanchez21891 So you're saying he's just like wilko? In my opinion farrell has a lot more flair than jonny has ever had. Farrells a class player at 10, 'kicks the ball well' and 'makes a few tackles' he also pulls the strings at 10 very well, maybe not the most skillful but he certainly allows those outside him to have a bit more freedom with the ball.

  • @iAmTommarse Pretty much except Wilko in his prime was one of the best defensive players in the world which Farrell is far from. He's fine defensively hence why he is doing ok at 12 but he will never play there for England, not quick enough or powerful enough to make line breaks himself. As a 10 he's a different prospect and I think he could well take the jersey off Flood one day. He still needs to find a running game somewhere though as a fly-half needs one these days

  • Vasily Artemyev

  • I thought it would be artemeyev
