First let me say the I totally love this vid!! the First thing that I noticed was that these waist beads are for women of all sizes!! wow I love the fact that you showed women of a More Traditional Build wearing them this goes to show that you can truly love your body and feel SEXY no matter what your size and even that its like your own little secret and you can be sexy with whatever your wearing and still be covered and FINE!!
Will you tell me how to make my own waist beads Ive looked for books but they are know help at all so will you tell me how to make them I had a pair but they broke I got them at the flea market help a sista out pleases Thank U
I totally agree. As the filmmaker, what was shot was supposed to be for a longer documentary. I do want to focus on the cultural aspects and the African origins if and when we shoot more for this project.
I totally agree. wearing waistbeads provide that connection as well. It was just not highlighted in this short video. The main focus about this video is that waistbeads help women, any woman, to feel good about themselves.
i like seeing the larger women wearing them. it makes me proud as a fellow plus sized woman cuz i rock them myself.
