  • Putting a wrong fuel can cause that no start condition to your vehicle affecting the fuel pump like YotaDude01's opition I respect.

  • toyota, ohh what a feeling LOL NOT and moving foreward, even when you want it too FUCKING STOP WHOOOA STOP YOU SLANTY EYED SOB STOP STOP STOP - CRASH BANG WHAM - FUCK

  • My prius actually had a similar problem. But after the accident the insurance replacement had a block heater integrated. So now all my cars have them.

  • like yota said ...maybe water froze ...or your fuel pump is fucked ..1 of the 2

  • my suggestion. go to david's farm and lets see what redneck repair he will do.

p.s don't leave 2 or more cans of beer ... or else nothing will happen to your toyota

  • I bet you had low fuel and the weather was cold

  • Dude you could have some water in the fuel that froze at that temp even with the fuel additives now a days. The humming noise is your fuel pump trying to pump fuel. Either its bad or your fuel is shitty.

  • first mistake you did was buying a toyota

  • lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    this car blows

  • get one of those heater plugs dude. 50 bucks

  • Fuel pump, dude. I have a 2001 corolla that sounded like that. Good luck.

  • Don't buy brand new, buy leftover and make sure there are enough miles to rule out being a lemon. The best way is to buy something that was used as a rental at a good place where extra maintenance was done.

  • Seems to me like you have some sort of ignition problem, like the coils arent working right on extreme cold mornings like this one. Did you ever get the problem solved?

  • @toyota4life94 ok i work with one other person and i go to his house when people want their cars fixed, i fix body damage, engine repair, or just a good cleaning, but mostly we get fender benders and oil changes too :)

  • @toyota4life94 k sorry! im a specialty worker for german manufacturers ie: bmw, vw, mercedes etc...and they will never start without a clutch and my dodge ram doesnt either so i assumed that no car will but ok now i know and ok i will tell you what a camshaft is and does: it is a shaft with cams attached to it and the cams move up and down and the cams work better at a higher rpm the point of the camshaft is to make the pistons move and opens and closes valves to complete the combustion cycle

  • @toyota4life94 dude calm ur raging hormones! also its not my video... look at my youtube name...also if u knew alot about manual transmission then u woulda known that if the clutch wasnt in, it wouldnt of tried to turn over and it wouldve started if it wasnt in neutral man u may know some facts bout cars but not their transmission, if u have no idea of what their trannys are...get in a manual car and try to start it without the clutch in and see what happens...sheesh gets your facts right

  • @gadgetguy4000 My 1988 Toyota 4runner can start without the clutch, but that is a feature Toyota put in for the trail. You have to press the clutch start cancle button so that you can start it in gear when stalled on a hill or something. They still have that feature in the FJ Cruiser and Tacoma (I believe) Manual transmissioned trucks.

  • @toyota4life94 if the clutch wasnt in it wouldnt of even tried to start it wouldve been silent and did nothing same goes for neutral...if u knew anything about manual transmission u wouldnt of asked that question

  • What was the problem? I have a Geo Prizm which is the same as Corolla and Ive never had any starting problems

  • I just brought my corolla s 2008 in about two weeks ago.

  • There was a recall about that issue. I brought my car in just in case something is wrong in the future....and the replacement is free of charge. Not all corolla s are having difficulty. So don't worry.

  • That's why got the Scion TC. A little bit more but it wasn't affected by the recalls.

  • Feul pump

  • Does that odometer say 70k miles on a car you got no more then a year ago from the make of this video?

  • "get a heater plug" -11 celcius? (which i assume it is...canadian car kilometers on spedo).....my 1995 geo starts in -20 FARENHEIT....notice how fast the engine cranks over. temperature is no excuse.

  • You have warning lights on.

  • well your problem is that, ITS -11 DEGREES. get yourself an engine block warmer and try then, cars dont like to start when they are too cold. also probably not a bad idea to put it inside a garage if u have one, i heard it wanting to start, so the temprature is probably why

  • I had a problem with my 2005 corolla espacily during winter and the computer board was craked and it was one of the recalls so i got a new one in for free and now it starts perfectly

  • GET A 50 DOLLAR HEATING PLUG

  • WELL IT IS -11 BUT MY CAR DOSNT DO THAT AT THE SAME TEMP

  • computer is bad, there should be a recall for it. Corollas 03-08 are also known for bad fuel pumps, 09 and up is not as common.

  • engine light is on for a reason

  • It's just the cameramans breath (it's really cold), not smoke..

  • Right. It's a manual transmission.

  • Dude I think u need to put the shifter in park

  • its a 5 speed lol

  • @150sabir its not an automatic, there is no park position

  • only 3 things that won't make it start since it is cranking over: spark, fuel, compression.

  • That does look like smoke inside the car.

  • Since its stanard try to get the car to start drifting and pop the clutch and the car should start!

  • flue pump is gone

  • if it gets that cold get a heater plug man its actually pretty cheap

  • I know it won't start because it was 11 dergres

  • i have an OLD 1994 FORd TAURUS and i nver had this kind of problem even during the COLDEST years and i leave the car outside the garage. alot of people said the 1994 ford taurus was one of the best cars ford had ever produced. i guess TAURUS in general are reliable. i've had it for 5 years now and believe it or not, never had a major engine problem except for basic maintencance such as oils, water, breaks, and battery. the best part is i bought it for only 1,200bucks. its still running,

  • @drei9 you and your Taurus should get a room...

  • Its not getting fuel for whatever reason. Try putting some "heet" in your tank for the really cold days...

  • hmm thats not usual for a toyota..

  • @TiffanyJ1985 Yeah it is. Its jap scrap

  • @chorstma44 this is a stupid comment as the can happen to any brand of car. Toyota's auctually give the least problems out of all the car makes

  • @TiffanyJ1985 toyota has become a garbage car, there not safe, reliable, or even built in japan anymore, ford and gm are now the best built, most reliable, and highest quality in the world hands down

  • @TiffanyJ1985 nah, 'yota's are junk...

  • @TotalTQ Toyota's are not junk. At least they work their kinks out. Hopefully you're not some Ford/Chevy/Dodge fan. Lol because they most certainly are NOT better than Toyota.

  • Maybe get your self a better car battery or keep cardboard on the engine. I used to have the same problem with my Elantra until I got a new battery now this car starts better than my tacoma.

  • chek your fuel pompe or your starter

  • Buy a VW !

  • So what's the update? What was wrong with it? I'm picking up my 2009 xrs this weekend. Is this what I'll have t look forward to?

  • because the engine is cold try reving the the engine

  • Hondas even worse!!!!!

  • is this smoke inside the car??

  • gpwario,

    it's probably cold breath

  • @MasterSnowstorm , you're right, it was pretty cold that morning!

  • @gpwario thats his breath, he just said its -11 degrees.

  • @gpwario It's his breath...

  • @gpwario its his breath, he said it was -11 outside dimwit

  • yeah it was the fuel pump a friend had the same on his 2010 we change it for an aftermarket fuel pump and now no problem anymore

  • Humming noise - Fuel pump

  • u shouldnt have this problem for tnewer car. Its can be fuel injector, ignition, or even ur camshaft cuz i here clicking noice. All im saying is problem is fixable but your car is too new for this problem

  • @IzzyLL i agree

  • The problem is that it's a Toyota. Shouldve got a civic. That toyotA us a death trap with wheels and sur e does it drive like won. LoL. Sorry about my english!

  • I'm having the same problem with my '93 toyota corolla, we already replaced the whole distributor.. it'll start and run but when you try to go it'll act like its out of gas and just die.. we're thinking it's the fuel pump/filter.. we're going to replace the filter tomarrow, hopefully it's that, I've already put in 100$ into the thing, and it still wont work!

  • thats not right try cleaing the fuel injectors with some fuel treatment

  • @schindlerman96 that won't do anything. he should have it at the dealer.

  • im just saying our corolla did something similar

  • wow dont keep trying to start it ull flood the engine, idk that could be a number of things isn't it still under warranty? trade it in get a nissan or mazda

  • i was told you couldnt flood EFI vehicles

  • damn =\ hope you have luck with that... is there any engine work that you've done to it? - if not already fixed.
