  • would go great with a lanboy air

  • would i be able to use this with a 450 watt psu? please reply

  • Thats orange?

  • 448 cores, i wish my CPU had that many.

  • 2:47 the actual graphics card :]

  • thats yellow not orange! :D

  • EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 Cores 797MHz or a stock Radeon 6970 for BF3?

  • @anto1122 the EVGA card can BLOW AWAY the Radeon if used correctly, plus EVGA support...warranty...software...better cooling...PhysX down the road.

  • @TonysTactics Just gonna save for a 7950 now, but thanks for the reply :P

  • @TonysTactics kinda dumb answer, the 560 ti is even slower than the 6950 in benchmarks and only a few games use physx and is soon going to not even be used anymore and better physics being used by new game engines. Physx is pretty old technology. As a matter of fact nvidia didnt come out with physx,Aegia did and those are old cards

  • @PsiloCybinDreamX the new 560ti's with 448 cores can be pushed to 580 levels, scale reallllllly fucking well in SLI, and have 3D. I'd still choose that over the 6950.

  • @TonysTactics lol I dont think so. Send me a link or a benchmark and I might think differently. But for now the 2gb 6950 kills the 560ti in benchmarks and Ive seen several of them

  • @PsiloCybinDreamX I don't have any links or anything, this is from personal experience. And at 1920x1080 resolution, the VRAM doesn't matter, although, at 2560x1600, I saw that the Radeon had less stuttering due to a higher frame buffer.

  • @TonysTactics if you claim to have pushed it to 580 performance then then the 560ti should out perform the 6950 even tho it has less memory and shouldn't have any "stuttering"

  • @TonysTactics watch?v=yESeP_27cqo you can check out this benchmark if you want. All the 560 ti's are all the same to the 448 core ones arent a different version of a 560ti

  • @PsiloCybinDreamX aren't those at stock clocks? Besides, who's gonna care about benchmarks when playing BF3 or Skyrim? haha. I don't know, I've still seen the 560's perform better and more reliable EVEN clocked at about 1ghz core clock, I like to OC a lot. I can't get that performance (stable) with many AMD gpu's

  • @TonysTactics i clock mine at 950, I could go higher but I dont want it getting above 80c so it usually stays at about 75-77c on full load. My next gpu upgrade will most likely be a gtx580. I dont see the point of buying the fastest gpu. getting 100+ fps in games is a little pointless. But in a years time the gtx580 will be performing as a decent gaming card.

  • @PsiloCybinDreamX You're right, getting 100+ fps is kinda pointless, I just use high-end cards like 580's for multiple displays, in 3D, nothing more rewarding than that. And sometimes, I'm lucky if I manage 60fps. Oddly enough though, even with upping voltages, most of the cards I deal with never break 65c. Maybe just an airflow thing.

  • @TonysTactics it mostly stays around 67c but a few games it gets around 75c in the new batman game and that kingdoms of alamur reckoning game.Im just waiting for diablo3 none of these new games even interest me.

  • @PsiloCybinDreamX I know that feel, I'm awaiting Guild Wars 2, that release is when my social life comes to a screeching halt.

  • @TonysTactics that game looks pretty fun

  • hi

    better Sapphire Radeon HD5850 Vapor-X 2GB Gddr5 or zotac gtx560 ti 448 2 gb?

  • @VILITESCHI THE ZOTAC ONE by far

  • @VILITESCHI that zotac product ;)

  • This is what could be considered as a GTX 565.

  • great for a bumble b build!

  • I have a question for you. Whats the difference between the Zotec version and the EVGA version performance wise? thumbs so people can see i'm really interested in he answer.

  • @alejandroc19

    EVGA GETS LIFE TIME WARRANTIES.

  • @alejandroc19 I personally like the zotac version because I think it looks better and the zotac one comes with a 3 year warranty but evga comes with a lifetime warranty. I don't know anything about overclocking though, they might overclock the same, but the evga one has 2 fans so it may have better temperatures

  • @alejandroc19 dunno. go for the MSi one. its the best 448 you can get!

  • @alejandroc19 go evga, first better customer service, 2 the step up program , 3 gennerrally better coolers so less heat and better headrom for overclock , better built card (way less DOA's then zotac, and last the price sometimes is lower , the evga makes far more sense to me at least

  • @alejandroc19 there is not much performance difference the cooling may be better on one of the cards

  • I have the gigabyte version, so nice

  • what the hell are u talking about?

  • Won't look good in my system cause it's blue withe green on my SLI 460 OCs

  • Is there any recent black and yellow motherboards that have the lga 1155 socket

  • price for ugliest card ever

  • @Arnoud1987000 im pretty sure you dont buy a gpu to look at it...

  • @Arnoud1987000 buy an aftermarket heatsink then.

  • I find that Zotac has a cheap-ish build quality, and EVGA, while more expensive, is fairly strong.

I'd recommend EVGA to the people watching this...if you have the cash for it.

  • Just bought this card last night. Should be here in the morning. Came with Batman Arkham City. Can't wait.

  • @PsychoJosh I bought it monday should come tomorrow it comes with bf3 which kinda sucks because I already have bf3 I wish I could have got what you got, oh well, anyways I am so excited!!

  • Review the MSI version.. Please!!!! : )

  • I have the MSI version and its a great card. Clocked at 900/2400 with +50Mv

  • That card looks so good. I love the mesh and colour scheme.

  • opinion on performance between 2 GTX 580 3gb vs 3x 560 ti 448 vs 3x 570? price doesnt matter just trying to find which of these 3 configs wields the most performance. soon as i find a good mobo that does this with Ivy bridge support lol..but yeh any takers on advice?

  • @KJRiotGaming sli x3 is a waste imo because you lose so much power on the third card, plus that config causes alot of compability problems.

  • @vithaj92 i went with the SLI x2 Nvidia Geforce GTX 580 3GB (not classified or superclocked) and im mildly satisfied, dont think ill go 3 way, maybe buy some aftermarket fans or watercooling, i cant seem to over-clock them and i have a ton fans in this beast case

  • THATS A HUGE BITCH

  • I'm considering this card for a build I'm doing soon, but I a concern. Eventually I'd like to SLI this card a bit down the road, but with the Nvidia dropping their new series in March or there about, how difficult will that make finding a matching card later on, or should the Fermi Refresh still work along side it in SLI? I know with most cards it has to be within the same series, but with it being a "refresh" was wondering if that would factor into it. Can anyone help me out on this matter?

  • @GunslingerGrim

Just built a system for my dad with the same card, we were wondering the same thing. Maybe Linus could help us out? It's a beast of a card btw.

  • @GunslingerGrim Just get another one right now, before its too late! I read somewhere that Nvidia might continue to support these cards if they sell well. This product is like a test for them.

  • @GunslingerGrim i would personally go with the 570 , reason is the 448 core edition 560 ti is a limited edition which means they may even be gone before the new line is out , and most likely at least after it , however companys still ship some last gen cards for at least a year after they release a new line , so likely down thee road a 570 will be accessable for purchase however the 448 core wouldnt be , and also 570s have better cooling and overclocking anyways and barely cost more

  • is it better than a gtx 560 ti with 2gb Vram?

  • @TheNiggiboy the 2 gig 560 ti is a waste of money. 1 gig is the efficient memory for the card the 2 gb is just a marketing scheme.

  • @56nano No, the GTX 560ti 448 will not sli with a regular 560ti, which completely bummed me out cause i just bought a 560ti amp on sale like 2 weeks ago

  • Mine?.......To keep?.......Thanks bro!

  • It lookes like its yelloooowwz

  • Anyone know if they will be updating the 570 or 580 soon?

  • @DotsOnALine Tigerdirect has the 570 I think

  • Does this card run in SLI with a regular 560ti because i'm planning to buy one for SLI with my existing 560ti

  • to me, is just a rebadge gtx 470.

  • noob question: are they names such as xfx, sapphire, evga, zotac etc. do they just use different color schemes and styles? but the card itself is the same or... whaaat

  • @bow2urepnoy2 evga is nividia zotac does amd and nividia i think but sapphire and xfx are the same cards just different warrenties and colors etc

  • " What this thing is ? " It's a Video Graphic Card ,lol

  • can this sli with a 570 later on? i know even different amd cards can cfx with different cards (within reason)

  • that card needs 2 cooling fans.

  • Hello linustech. I want you to give me some advice. I wish to build a computer, now i have the Amd 1090t proccesor, and 8gb corsai memory rama ddr3. So i think i will buy the Asus M4A89 GTD PRO/USB3, but my cuestion is i want to buy the EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Superclocked 1024 MB. What do you recommend me?

  • gtx 560ti hawk for 220 or this for 280?

  • @billah18 where are you getting a 560ti hawk for $220? is it new?

  • Hmmm should I buy this or wait till next gen AMD/nvidia vga

  • I think u should get 2 more and bench 3way sli and vs GTX570 in sli benchmarks. Thumbup so linus can do it!!!

  • Should i get this or the radeon hd 6950 2gb? Not sure which is better

  • @codaassasin Im pretty sure the 6950 "2GB" model, IS capable of running better at higher resolutions. Otherwise the only difference i guess is the price. I doubt there would be much difference in performance, or at least anything noticeable.

  • @codaassasin SAME QUESTION !!!

  • @codaassasin

I would wait for newer cards cuz both those cards are too old right now unless they went on sale at 50-75% off. I still have an 260 gtx lol.

  • Everytime I look to this video thumbnail I see a LEGO star wars spaceship...

  • do u give any of ur gaming cards away

  • It won't look good in my system cuz i don't want one

  • It is hard ot find a decent cooling solution on Ati cards. I have started to thin they are not worthy for my attention anymore. The reason why i prefer ATI over Nvidia because the well supported TV output. Ok, it's an outdated CRT VT and older card XFX HD4670 which cooler is terrible. Im not quite sure what happend with the warranty after installed the Arctic Accelero S1 Rev. 2 awesome cooling with Scythe 120mm fan + rubber "screws" :D

  • @hokiturmix Are you kidding me???? Go look up the Gigabyte 'windforce' cards, the MSI 'hawk' cards, anything under the 5000 series and reference cards are DEFINITELY going to have bad cooling.

  • @FaLsEiNqUiSiTiOn

Ha? what is the problem? are you trying to say you can show me ATI card with decent cooling? or which Nvidia cards that have 5000 series? Im claim that NVIDIA has better cooling solutions than ATI or at least looks like. bit confused in here.....

  • @hokiturmix What? lol Its not the chip manufacterer that does the cooling design unless it is a newly released 'reference card', say we have 6950 from ATI with the 'Windforce 2' cooler design and a 560 from Nvidia with the SAME 'Windforce 2' design. Are you going to tell me that the 6950 is going to have better cooling when they basically have the EXACT same heatsink? No. Its not about the Nvidia vs AMD/ATI deal, its about brand like 'Asus', 'Zotac', or 'MSI' that makes the cooling.

  • @FaLsEiNqUiSiTiOn Actually certain cpu's or gpu's run cooler because of the cpu/gpu architecture.

  • @Amuffin456 Well obviously, They aren't the same thing. I was just pointing out the cooler design, it's no different if it's Nvidia or AMD/ATI, but I mean if you compare reference coolers it may be different but we shouldn't be so against a certain chip maker for the ref. cooler.

  • @hokiturmix Msi 6950 twin frozr 3 or even the gigabyte windforce series 6950 also it depends on the company that manufactuers the cooler for an example asus or msi. Please learn something before you comment.

  • For the price you could just buy an actual GTX 570

  • Can this play bf3? How good?

  • @PSCreativeGaming search MSI GTX560 448 BF3 Gameplay - Twin Frozr III Power Edition on youtube.

  • nvidia released this to compete with the 6950, they overpriced it considering you can buy a 6950 that performs substantially better that you can unlock to a 6970 for 290, plus rebates that can go down to 270, i've seen some go down to 220. unless this can be unlocked to a 570, it's useless

  • EVGA has one of the best warranties in the industry.

  • gtx 560 ti 448 :$299

    gtx 570 :$350

  • NCIX is OK but not the best. If you live in Canada I would suggest using Memory express. They will beat prices by 25% of any retail/estore in Canada plus free shipping anywhere in Canada (over 250$)

    Been using them for years.

  • MSI 560 Ti hawk is better I think. Better cooling.

  • @SchwarzRitter560 All gtx560 Ti 448 outperform the GTX570 with a slightly overclock

  • 3:25 LMFAO only a true geek would do that

  • The reason this is a 560 is because the 560 has a higher clock speed than a 570, which has a higher clock speed than a 580. The only reason the 580 is faster than the 570 is because it has mroe cores and more memory, and the only reason the 570 is faster than the 560 TI is because it has more cores and memory.

If you activated every CUDA core on a GTX 590 (some of them are deactivated) and overclocked it to 560 TI clock speeds, it would be god knows how much faster than a 580.

  • @Amaroqdricaldari you are wrong a gtx 580 is clocked higher then a gtx 570 also more memory does not effect speed but the gtx 570 memory speed is 1900MHz also memory bit is 320 and the gtx 580 has a speed of 2004MHz also a memory bit of 384 the 580 is faster cause its clocked higher and and has FASTER memory

PS: the gtx 570 is faster then the 560ti cause it uses a GF110 core instead of the GF114 that a GTX 560 ti uses. the GF110 is much more of an efficient architecture.also look up asus mars 2

  • @MrComputereviews i hope linus is proud

  • @MrComputereviews Dude, I was mistaken with the GTX 570 and 580.

As for the Mars II, I ALREADY know about it. But it has the GPUs at 580 Clock Speeds, not 560 TI Clock Speeds.

In addition, it has a HUGE cooler, it is ULTRA limited edition, it costs ALOT of money, and it uses ALOT of power.

With the exception of the Mars II, the only things that make the GTX 590 worthwhile are the following:

    - Better SLI Scaling

    - Cheaper and smaller than two 580s

    That's about it.

  • @Amaroqdricaldari And that if you have a case/motherboard that can only accommodate 1 or 2 cards when you want 2 or 4-way SLI. Same for AMD and crossfire.

  • Its sexy!! gaaaaargh!!

  • Are you gay?

  • @Supertasker18 He has a wife.

  • yeah i knew u got it first!~ review

  • powerful video card (your fan from morocco)

  • 3:56 my question when i clicked to wach this vidio

  • We want reflective surfaces so we can see the cameraman! :)

  • Lan boyair...

  • 1.2GB? too bad

    get 2GB

  • GTX 565 Ti lol

  • @Snipe4Life9001 GTX 570 SE lol.

  • @Snipe4Life9001 Basically, hopefully it doesn't bake itself like the 465.

  • ASDF. Why isn't this card sold in the BeNeLux?!

  • Dislikers, look at the dislikebar, now your penis, no difference.

  • Why would you but this voer a gtx 570, they performence quite worst and are only 20$ buck from them.

Kinda retarded, bad pricing flawed this card otherwise looks cool

  • Comment removed

  • 2:00 what happened to Linus's voice? :P

  • This card + yellow Antec Lanboy Air = Smexy LAN PC.

  • Way too much expensive!!!!

  • lets find this information together sounds so dora the explorer :p

  • @TheDrunkenMantis what is the real diffrence on those 2 graphic cards, never understood why there are so many with the same name Icon but like diffrent text before the "GTX 560" ?

  • Comment removed

  • Why not just get a GTX 570 for the price? lol

    GTX 560 Ti 448: 340$ NCIX

    EVGA Superclocked GTX 570: 360$

  • @TheDrunkenMantis He gets them free to review them I think, and if he bought it, he did it for the people that are going to buy/already have this card. He is going to do a review too, I just know it.

  • @YourComputerExpert Yeah, I know that about Linus. But I'm saying from a consumer stand point.

  • @TheDrunkenMantis The 488 can be unlocked to a 570.

Basically, the 570 can overclock a little more. That's about it.

  • @TheDrunkenMantis because NCIX over priced that check out new egg

    newegg /Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&N=-1&isNodeId=1&Description=gtx+560+ti+448&x=0&y=0

  • @TheDrunkenMantis

Maybe you should shop elsewhere. Several 560 TI 448 models are below 300 dollars on newegg. Whereas 570s are 300-400 dollars. The 570 was never a good choice, it was in an awkward position between the 560 TI and the 570 and honestly, the price/performance was never worth it. The 560 TI 448 comes extremely close to matching the 570 and it's 50-100 dollars cheaper. Also, OCd models of the 560 TI 448 perform better than stock 570s and are cheaper too.

  • @TheDrunkenMantis Shorter card? i think thats the only reason

  • @TheDrunkenMantis because, it's faster than a 580.

  • @TheDrunkenMantis agreed i just dont know what market section its meant to be in?

  • @TheDrunkenMantis They changed the pricing they are now like $50 a part which I would understand if someone wants to save $50

  • cheap ass looking...

  • The card looks good

  • why not 570?

  • Linus .... I dreamed that we smugglers computer parts and pursue our special forces. no kidding. I apologize for spelling because I use google translator

  • this is SO a gtx 570 amp - looks the same - same memory etc etc etc they just dumb down the cores

  • How is that even a 560?!

  • @DeepestBlueJ its a failed 570 apm edititon from zotac - i have 570 amp and it looks exactly the same - im sure this are the failed ones

  • overclock your old 560 ti 384, you'll get almost same performance.

  • @XSphynxForEvilX "old" gtx 560 ti 384? I know many who would disagree with that adjective.

  • So can i SLI this with my normal EVGA 560 Ti?

  • @SneakehNub no lol, it uses the same core as the 570 and 580, so u can do 3 way sli with this

  • great gtx 560 Ti from zotac, i have msi gtx 560 Ti it's look cool with twin frozr

  • Comment removed

  • It actually doesn't support 3 way sli, it just has the connectors.

  • @jewie27 It DOES support 3 way SLI

  • @jewie27 Wrong, it has support for 3-way SLI

  • Hey any 1 know if this will sli with a another gtx 560 ti?

  • @doomlock3 It won't.

  • @doomlock3 It will but if the other 560 ti has a higher clock then it will underclock down to this 560 ti's level and vice versa. But its best just to buy the same cards.

  • eww 300$ still sexy card though

  • I'm guessing these are the 570 Fermi chips that failed to bin as 570's. Much like the 465(?) of the last go around.

  • gtx 550 ti worth it? I mean its half the price, but is it half the power in terms of a gpu?

  • This could probably be unlocked to a GTX 570 with a BIOS update.

  • @Mdemons12

Nope there laser cut.. So no unlocking..Its not just a simple bios difference like the 6950 or 465 and many other cards.

  • Too many GTX 560's -.- why not just make this one a 565 to be less confusing?

  • @a7x5631

According to NVIDIA because it's a limited edition card. Crappy excuse, if you ask me. Put a GTX 570 SE/LE sticker on it and call it a day.

  • what is the difference of gtx560ti and gtx560?

  • @hydrofluxsinator gtx 560 ti is cheaper than a regular 560, with the benefit of costing less. But this particular GTX 560 Ti has extra shader cores, more than a regular 560. This will equal higher performance, but as someone else pointed out earlier, for the price of this graphics card, there are cheaper alternatives that will perform about the same.

  • @RalphCQ How is the 560ti cheaper than a regular 560, it's a higher model, hurr durr.

  • @Patrunic who are you?

  • @RalphCQ Someone smarter than you obviously?

  • @Patrunic I'm not even gonna point out the irony here... Might wanna do some research, before you go around telling people HURR DURR. Dumbfuck.

  • When Lytro makes a camcorder, Slick will be good.
