Hi, i love all of your videos im 16 and i love building things. also why im trying to go to collage for engineering. but how much are these sets? where can i get them? and have you gotten any attention from businesses about your creations?
As a young boy I had Meccano sets nos 1, 2, 3 and 4 plus many odd parts bought here and there as they became available. Unluckily the second world war put paid to the availability of sets and parts. It never really took off again.
One can still buy odds and ends at boots fairs and markets, but from what I have seen the new sets in shops are very expensive.
I have been collecting the parts for more years that I can remember. I still buy some of the newer sets - check the toy and hobby stores. Also eBay is a great source of parts.
