Jews don't say or write the names of g-d when not praying, that's why we don't write the o (as you can see above), and we replace the 'h' with a 'k' (elokai, elokim, elokeinu, etc.)
Attende, there is a jewish language called 'lashon hakodesh', the language in which the bible is written, which indeed very much resembles hebrew, but its not hebrew.
I looked this up and I find that this is a standard morning and evening prayer for all decendants of Israel. but it will take time to learn it. and I am not sure this song is exactly the same as the prayer. I just don't know enough and I could not find good sources.
What would be really great is a video post with English and hebrew subtitles. Like a kareoke. But the Hebrew must be in english phonetics so we can speak it. Then those of us who are loving this song so much can join in and sing also.
Thanks for the english subs. It is a beginning. also I am seeking time and place to learn Hebrew. I truly want to learn to sing this prayer in Hebrew but I also want to understand the words.

Cherokee here. @ chair with arrow and key.
I am Yaroke. Means Kessef which means green in Hebrew.
The Cherokee is one of the true ten lost tribes if Israel.
We want to return to Israel.
We want to see our homeland for the first time.
The Exodus and then the trail of tears.
70,000 persons died on that trail as they set thier traps for us.
Bring word to embassy. Make it happen.
And may the ancient of days be with us and all our brothers and sisters.
I boast only in him.

And for our French-speaking friends:
(1)

Shma Yisrael ("hear out, sons of Israel")/ Sarit Hadad
English translation:
(1)
When the heart crys, only god can hear it.
when the pain rises from the soul.
as a man falls, just before he vanishes,
his last little prayer is cutting through the silenc;
yonataneshel 3 years ago 5
(2)
Shma yisrael, my Lord, almighty you;
you gave me my life, you gave me everything
tears in my eyes, my heart is silently weeping
and when the heart weeps, the soul inside crys out.
Shma yisrael, my Lord, now that I'm all alone,
strengthen me my Lord, help me confront my fears.
the pain is great, there nowhere to run,
make it go away, there's no more strenght left in me.
yonataneshel 3 years ago 4
(3)
When the heart is crying, time stands still.
a man sees his whole life infront of him
into the unknown he doesn't want to step
and to his God he crys on the edge of the cliff;
Shma yisrael..
