in some labs you do need them alive to see the nerves, in most they are already dead, im gonna have a marked dissection today :/

The cockroach is normally dissected from the dorsal side facing you.

@h20clicker actually it was dissected from the ventral side, which was already removed. so this is like the back side of the dorsal side. i hope you get me. haha
