  • Hahahahaaa!! British Army chefs train longer than the USMC.

  • stop fucking making girly faces and keep moving

  • 50 began and only 4 originals finished, not too far from the SAS.

  • Thank you for uploading. Incredible series!

  • As the name of the opening song?

  • Though I will be a US Marine I must say Semper Fi to these men... once a Marine, always Marine! HOO RAH!

  • Thanks for upload

  • Make another series!!

  • que chido program

  • Arguably the toughest military training in the world which one can take, AS A CIVILIAN.

  • 1:09 Non-Commissioned Officers have a universal language. lol

  • "Toughest military training in the world"

I'm so tired of everyone saying things like that. The RMC training is fucking brutal, but there are many out there like it, and there are much, much harder training programs (if you want to call it that) out there.

Also, to the idiots under me, there are no "The best".

None of you will ever make it into the Special Forces. Being part of SF requires intelligence, something which both of you clearly lacks.

  • Respond to this video... What training is harder that isn't SF?? You're just jelly that the UK has the world's best soldiers

  • @lwlwlwlwlwlwlw1

There are many soldier training programs out that are just as tough as the Royal Marines Commando training. The British Parachute Regiment training for example. The Swedish Jägar training (Lapplandsjägare, Norrlandsjägare, Kustjägare and Fallskärmsjägare), The French Foreign Legion training (and probably the training for the French Paratroops too) are just as hard, or maybe tougher than the RMC one.

And no one country have the best soldiers in the world, there are no such thing.

  • @LuciusCorneliusMacro Mate what force do you belong to? Us Royal Marines are the hardest. Have you seen any action and if so where? I've been there and we do the fookin business mate. Respect to the Parachute regiment but the other forcrs haven't engaged in any real combat anytime lately.

  • @CMMY81

Engaging in combat is not the point. Combat would make any man either hard, or totally break him down. Even the National Guard (don't know if you brits call it National Guard but you get the point) would look like some bad-ass motherfuckers compared to fresh RMC's after a couple of months in combat.

What we are talking about (or at least, I am) here is that the RMC's are some tough SOB's but they are not the best, because there is no such thing.

  • YES CORPORAL!!!!

  • 5:25 kitten!!!

  • Imagine the buzz youd get from that. Just wow

  • Just an observation...why is it that no matter what documentary you watch concerning a mlitary selection/training process, the narrator always claims it to be the "toughest in the world." By my count, the Green Berets, Royal Marine Commandos, SEALs, SAS, SASR, Marine Force Recon, US Air Force Pararescue, US Army Rangers, Russian Spetsnaz, Israeli Flotilla 13, Australian Commandos, Canadian Special Forces, and more all claim to have the toughest training...go figure, lol.

  • @USN1985dos sas do have the best training they are the best of the best of the best of the best of the best

  • @slickien12

Yeah...can you tell me what training Delta and DevGru go through? No? If Army SF selection and SEAL training are so hard, imagine how hard the selection is to get into the Tier 1. That's why the SAS is not the best.

  • The no-lifers, illiterates, the junk and expendable part of a society. Good luck suckers. Your King will be grateful while drinking champagne and eating caviar.

It's the bricks like you, humanity cannot move forward, can not demand something better from their few who are truly in charge. They rely on you. Well done, dead meats.

  • @EuroSceptiCismoS Our head of state is a queen who eats out of tupperware. Please think before you speak.

  • @EuroSceptiCismoS Your such a dick mate

  • @EuroSceptiCismoS PRICK!!!!!

  • Lympestone! Been there twice. Royal Marines are hardcore.

  • so do they not to finish high school since they can join when there 16?

  • @AmericanGMS you have to be out of school when u start training, you might be from america or something i dont know but the school system is deifferent over here.

  • @caza238 yeah i am and what is diff about the school system?

  • @AmericanGMS u can leave skl when ur 16 with gcse's or not and choose to either leave skl or continue with alevels, which will finish when you're 18

  • @AmericanGMS high school finishes at 16 here in eNGLAND

  • Rest in peace Lt Orlando Rogers

  • @RobregoUK , What do you mean did Lt Orlando Rogers die ?

i saw him around 40 cmndo before not that long back when i was in trainin

  • I am using this documentary as an insight for myself, if I ever wanted to join the military - this is where I'd want to go.

  • Much respect to our English brothers!

  • @kingBPP1947 Fock off, What about all the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland and Commenwealth brothers... They make up more of the British Military than the English...

  • @NathanAndrewLonsdale Don't be so cunty. It was a slip up. Much respect to ALL the British forces!

  • 5.28 how naive

  • Rest in Peace Orlando god bless you Royal!

  • "your gunna start grabbin reppin the testicles off, rippin the penis off what ever it takes.."

  • Rest in Peace Orland Rogers! We Will Remember Them!

  • R.I.P Orlando Rogers, he was seriously injured in a bi-plane crash in Dorset not long ago, and later died in hospital with his mother by his side, aged just twenty six :(

  • @Nigelkolebra May he rest in peace!

  • RIP Orlando Rogers

  • RIP Orlando Rogers

  • read the book ! R.I.P thomas currie

  • Yes Terry John!

  • From watching this I cant fucking wait any longer!!! I'm 18 in 3 years and I really cant wait that long!!!

  • I'm joining the RMC when I'm 18 and hopefully one day I'll get picked for SBS selection :)

  • @EllisFitz1995 good lad, i would love to be in the SBS but its the submarines that put me off :L SAS for me

  • @2FUSIONgamersTV Haha yer, I've always wanted to be one of those deep sea army divers who go on secret missions underwater mini sub missions and lurk up out of the swampy water like the SBS, it's my dream and I can imagine you all kitted with gas mask and mp5, kicking doors in ready to go ballistic haha SAS syle :)

  • @EllisFitz1995 haha yer man! good luck! its a great ambition! ill be getting my dream! you deserve to aswell! respect.

  • @2FUSIONgamersTV Youve been playing too much Cod.The SBS dont go around in subs, they are actually a specialist unit within the Marines. To get into the SAS you already need to be a trained soldier and before you start "kicking doors in ready to go ballistic" you have to do selection which is 4 weeks of running through the brecon becon mountains in excess of 80lbs of kit, this is back breaking, and people have died doing it. From there it takes another 18 months of training and only gets harder.

  • @sam350999 SBS isn't really part of the marines, anyone can join from any part of the army, but marines are obviously more likely to join the SBS

  • @Miles12345671 No the SBS is part of the Marines, they wear a Green Beret with a Royal Marine cap badge, the only thing that distinguishes them are their SBS para wings and an SBS badge on their arm. You are right by the way, anyone can join the SBS from the Army, Navy or Air force, but that's just because the Marines are too small to recruit men from.

  • @sam350999 fair enough, you clearly know more than me, thats just what i thought lol

  • @Miles12345671 no its part of the royal marines

  • To watch 55 year old commando (the sequel episode to this series) click on meee!

  • I did my PRMC with Jordan slatter

  • i got to week 6 and riped my musle in my back and found it realy hard to ajust back

  • bloody legends woo

  • Awesome documentery

should be called terrys life tho

  • @elliotquinn123 nah i felt that it concentrated too much on him instead of the marines in general in my opinion. i mean yeah its good to have a view of how things can go wrong etc with regards to medial tibial stress syndrome, but that could have been done in less content about him, i would have rather seen a bit more about the officers training myself.

  • @mts7891 yeah, i agree, but to be fair by concentrating on one commando for the majority of the series its easier to see what life in the royal marines is really like.

  • wow a kid i know is on this documentry!

  • @jSVioLeNT Who?

  • @RyanHumpy zak

  • @jSVioLeNT Zack, who?

  • The same barber still works there...

  • "Stoop makin' fuckin' girly faces and start moving!"

  • you guys below should shut up.

  • I remember watching this 3 years ago when I was 14.... now I'm 17 and have my PRMC next month, it's finally happening!

  • Im going through the application process now for the RMC. I was suppsed to have my psychometric test monday but it was delayed for not having the proper documentation, as im classed as a rejoin i need permission from the Navy before i can continue.

  • @tuopvm The Royal Marines play an conventional and unconventional warfare, the Royal Marines have units such as the Special Forces Support Group (SFSG) also guys in the fleet protection group formally Commachio Group who specialise in maritime warfare and if I can remember they have units like M Squadron who are a less funded version on the SBS and there roll is specialising in seizing Oil Rigs and Boats. Hope this is a good response to your question.

  • Are these guys like the Rangers or are they more conventional?

  • @tuopvm they are Gods on the battlefield, put them in any situation. Conventional or unconventional they are the most switched on guys you will meet and they will near enough always come out on top, never let us down in the past and never will. Glad to know these guys got our backs and glad I'll be one of them soon.

  • @crouchtrac So you don't know? Lemme guess you're some kid that reads a lot of books and watches military shows right?

  • @tuopvm well I'm some kid who's in the process of becoming one, I've got a PRMC date for January 11th and I've done enough research, think that qualifies me to answer your question

  • @crouchtrac It qualifies you for shit and u didn't even answer my question you gave me some long winded speech about how much u suck cock.

  • @tuopvm pahahaha don't cry now big girl, it puts me in a better position than you'll ever be you fucking wannabe, go play COD

  • @crouchtrac Go fix you teeth you limey fuck.

  • @tuopvm shh be quiet you insignificant, worthless cunt and it's spelt 'your'

  • @crouchtrac As in your mother gives great gum jobs you twat.

  • @tuopvm congratulations you learnt to spell, now learn to insult effectively and you'll be on your way off the street and maybe a job

  • @crouchtrac Learnt isn't a word

  • @tuopvm it's the past tense of 'learned'.... further proof of how stupid you are and 'wanker' isn't a word and not nearly a good enough insult. Give up your starting to look a like an idiot now

  • @crouchtrac No it's not guy. There's learn, learning and learned. The red line underneath it when you typed it should have been a clue. That was Youtube correcting you. No wonder your country sucks

  • @tuopvm yes it is guy, google it if you want to be made to look like even more of an idiot

  • @crouchtrac You're mother is a slore

  • @tuopvm and she still has more credibility than you

  • @crouchtrac More cum in her stomach than anyone also.

  • @tuopvm go buy a condom so you don't make the same mistake as your father

  • @crouchtrac Lame. It took you 2 months to come up with that. LOL!!!

  • @tuopvm No, it took me two months to notice that an insignificant creature like you replied to me.

  • @crouchtrac Ah. Fail again. Must be terribly rough on you being such a colossal failure at everything you do in life. Stick with it though, you'll catch a break someday.

  • @tuopvm Do you ever give up trying to be funny? You should because your not very good at it.

  • @crouchtrac HA. I guess u find the truth funny. I'll make you a deal. I'll lay off if u kill yourself.

  • @tuopvm Your getting boring and predictive, I guess you won't be laying off at all then.

  • @crouchtrac The Queen is a whore.

  • @crouchtrac Wanker

  • best documentry ive ever watched

  • this has the coolest start sequence ever

  • what are the ranks called for newly Marines heading out to war? Are they called Privates like the USMC?

  • @ANIMALMOTHERFUCKYEA they are simply called marines

  • @pacmnn25 But then why do they have lance cpls and cpts in Royal Marines? or am I thinking of the British Army?

  • @ANIMALMOTHERFUCKYEA Cpls are section I/Cs and LCpls are section 2 I/Cs

  • @ANIMALMOTHERFUCKYEA its simply following the same rank structure as the army, i don't know why.

Other regiments also do it for example a recruit fresh out of training in a guards regiment is called a guardsman.

Different regiments have different names for privates, makes it feel more like a family I suppose as though you belong not only to the army but also to your regiment.

  • @ANIMALMOTHERFUCKYEA Even though the Royal Marines Commando's are part of the Royal Navy. There rank structure differs and is almost like the Army.

  • i live in greece and my mum is british,my passport says i'm a british civilian is it posible for me to become a royal marine?? anyone with an answer please answer me

  • @mikeMOrocks You are entitled , as any brit to try the R M selection, If you get there, Good Luck

  • whats all this crap ?!?! 1. the SAS and SBS are both British, 2. You go for selection for both SF (Special Forces) after gaining experience , normally 2-3 years at least. 3. Marines and Paras are mixed in SAS but there are normally more Paras in SAS and more Marines SBS. FACT

  • You do not Get Picked ! You go for SF Selection

  • brings back meamories

  • No you apply but you your C.O. has to recommend you. You go speak to him and then if he thinks you're good enough he'll allow to crack on with it.

Also, SBS and SAS are both part of the UKSF and work together and probably will get merged in the next round of cuts.

  • if you join the reserves then you don't have to becuase you can join from civilian.

  • Great introduction! really.

  • full respect to all royal marines. but when i'm older i'm gonna aplly for SAS if i make it into marines. :)

  • fair play, but the sas picks you. :) being a royal marine is one hell of an achievment by its self.

  • yea, i guess. ;)

  • Why not join the army if you want to become an SAS trooper eventually?

Of course, while you could go SAS from the marines, wouldn't SBS be a more relevant choice for a marine aspriant?

  • Yea, it would, but i just stated that when i'm older i'll join the reserves, then the full time one.

  • dude u dont applly to join u get picked to join the sas btw hardly anyone get pickled from the marines to join the sas join the paras u will have more chance gud luk tho!

  • @princeofcongo

if you join the sas reserves, (21,23) then you can join asa civvy.

  • yeah, you need to be in the royal marines commando or army for 5 yrs before you get picked.I just passed out 2 weeks ago and got chosen to be in 45 commando in arbroath XD its fucking great !

  • @monstermitch123

haha its not that great mate. im based up there the now. spent three years in the marines now going for ma fourth. cant wait to leave but im waiting for better offers before leaving. thinking about SBS but if i fail at that then ill probz go work in a civvie job.

but you'll love it in 45, great laughs we had. i got a lot of hassle becuase i was a para for two years but got kicked out for getting into a fight with a marine while in afghanistan

  • @ditdatdot how come you don't enjoy it man?

  • @crouchtrac Because he's lying maybe?

  • @Roar0804 no doubt.... There should be whole divisions of Royal Marines going by the amount of people who claim to be in the corps

  • @princeofcongo You dont get picked you have to ask your commanding officer after three plus years of service. The SAS like having royal marines in the unit because of there high fitness levels and disiplin.

  • @princeofcongo

As is stated in another post you plonker, you apply yourself if you think your up for it. You request to have an audiance with your Coy OC and then ask to go on selection. Phuckin arse.

  • It's Georgie "Sparks", not sharp... he made as an original in this series along with Blight, Hogan and Williams
