My parents are very supportive of my "look". My mom wasn't to stoked about it at first, especially with my piercings. I'm bullied everyday at school because of the way I dress, and my piercings and black hair. I use to actually go home and cry about it, aha. & it's been going on for two years now, since I was 13. But one day I actually like cracked & flipped out on this one preppy boy & it felt so great. I try to ignore what people say about me, it to work most of the time, but it still hurts.

And, I actually had to leave in 8th grade and get homeschooled because of the bullying was SO bad, and considered it several times during high school, but as for high school I felt like it made them win and I don't want to give them that satisfaction. 8th grade was too hard to deal with, BUT through it I grew and learned a lot. If you wear booty shorts and a tank top your a "slut". If you wear ripped anything you "can't afford clothes or something". If you wear expensive clothing your a "rich snob". This is a judgmental world. Nobody these days can be themselves anymore. It's pathetic.

I've been bullied since i started school, basically.
I started dressing emo/scene in sixth grade.
I've been Excluded alot of times.
I'm always picked last for groups.
People exclude me and call me a freak all the time.
and sometime, it just makes me wanna cry D:
i'm in 10th grade now. and i still get it EVERYDAY.
i have two friends that are close to me, that don't exclude me.
i'm the only kid in my school that dresses like i do, and my other two friends.

I remember being bullyed ever sence the middle of 4th grade, all my friends ended up turning on me, and in 8th grade when i developed my "style" the bullying incressed, expeshialy when i came out as bisexual, but I am happy about who I am, and i hope everyone can say that about themselves, and your a very inspireing girl, keep making videos<3 -love AmberAnatomyy

I have been through the same thing. I have been bullied since elementary school and in 8th grade I turned emo/scene and no one understood why I did it. I also kept doing it and stayed strong and never showed how much I was hurt. My mom criticised me too. I love that you said it's just who we are because that's the truth. It's just a way of expressing ourselves and even though it might be different it doesn't mean that it's wrong.:)

Omg, girl, you made my day. Alot of people tell me like "Oh you used to look so innocent and now your all bleeh" And my moms like "Why do you dress this way?" and I try not to let it bring me down and alot of the time it doesnt, and this helped me get over it. Like I can only be myself and who I am and no one can change that. You are like one of my role models<3

i was bullied in elementary just for bein smaller im like 5 7 in height now(male) but here thats like kinda short well in my school but im accepted slightly and no hate is thrown on me. so i think after a while you shouldnt like you said, and ive gotten to that point. anywhere i go i get some bad stares, then some goody good good stares, so yeah at some point people need to just not care. do what you feel like too yourself.i love that you did this vid, its nice to do serious vids every so often.

@loregorexx I went through the same thing you went through one time i got sick of everyone at school calling me emo and so i started to dress different but i was unhappy so i changed back and realize when i went to seventh grade this year that it doesnt matter how you dress or look or you are fat or skinny that if you love the way you are you should stick what you like and i made up a new pharse that says : Being Awesome is Being yourself and now it gotten better

Thank so much! I am everyday even by my friends bullied for dressing punk/emo/alt. a lot because of being emo. They say "You're not emo!" when there are many types. Only my one friend has said to me "You are an emo person but you don't cut yourself and you look good this way 'cause it's who you are." One person. Anyways thank you so much again :)

im a scene kid and im a christian i resently dyed myy hair like a really bright red under and on top was all black. i had one lady she told me y do u dress like that it makes u look ugly and unnormal. i told her that i dont want to be like everyone else i want to were wat i want and do my makeup how i want to that made me feel a lot better

My parents are very supportive of my "look". My mom wasn't to stoked about it at first, especially with my piercings. I'm bullied everyday at school because of the way I dress, and my piercings and black hair. I use to actually go home and cry about it, aha. & it's been going on for two years now, since I was 13. But one day I actually like cracked & flipped out on this one preppy boy & it felt so great. I try to ignore what people say about me, it to work most of the time, but it still hurts.

And, I actually had to leave in 8th grade and get homeschooled because of the bullying was SO bad, and considered it several times during high school, but as for high school I felt like it made them win and I don't want to give them that satisfaction. 8th grade was too hard to deal with, BUT through it I grew and learned a lot. THROUGH STRUGGLE WE MAKE PROGRESS

awesome video, and we all have diff lifestyles and people who are creatively inclined\artistic dont understand why we dress and do what we do, i love you and change for no one! i agree with what all what you say, even now that im 23, i still get ridiculed, dirty looks and dumb comments, but i keep smiling and being the creative artist i know i am ;)
