that must cost so much how could you possibly look after a tank that big? its amazing though! for me i dont want a fish unless i can give it a big tank so it can swim around alot, but i dont think i can ever afford it lol :)
all you people need to understand this a 400 gallon not a 100 gallon. Everyone one of those fish are fine for that size of tank. As long as he can maintain good water quality there is nothing to worry about.
Con todo mi respeto. La música que acompaña al video es espantosa, y en lugar de servir para complementar al video sólo sirve para estropearlo. Voto negativo.
everybody looks happy, though it does look like quite a bioload. My personal preference would be to have a biotope type set-up in which you do all caribean or indian ocean or red sea fish. Helps me imagine i'm diving in some far-off tropical reef. I will pretend the french angel was abducted by a scuba-diving dentist from Sydney, Australia, and later rescued by a pelican, with assistance by a clownfish and a hippo tang. . .
Hello, I have a Coralife Compact Fluorescent True Actinic Blue Light Straight Pin Base Bulb and I don't know how to take it off because I'm buying a Regular Fluorescent Bulb to replace it. It's a CF 65W True Actinic. Sorry, I don't know that much about changing these kinds of bulbs that are connected by wires instead. Please Help ASAP! Thank You.
I think the fishies look happy running around. Your tank is sweet! I had a 55 growing up. What does it take to maintain? 400 gals, DAMN! Amen and forgive me god for swearing amen.
@notyetlaughing its not about the "upkeep"... its the fact that they will fight over territory and have nowhere to move around. also the weakest ones dont get fed.
@edmicequeen fresh and saltwater are two different world. You can have a chiclid tank this crowded but NOT a saltwater tank. A saltwater tank requires more space almost twice as much as a freshwater tank.
@edmicequeen@edmicequeen fresh and saltwater are two different world. You can have a chiclid tank this crowded but NOT a saltwater tank. A saltwater tank requires more space almost twice as much as a freshwater tank.
i just got a 250 galloon tank...everything i put in dies in 2-5days and i feel so bad killing so many fish my nitrates are hi really hi what do i do??
@tomatiggy - The dimensions are 72"×24"×18" that of course is including the top & bottom frames. The canopy and stand will dictate the rest. The actual amount of water it will hold in gallons is of course dependent on the amount of rock, sand and other accessories you put in it.
i have 35 gallon freshwater tank w/ 3 Gourami 2 black tetra 1 white tetra a gold algae eater dalmation molly balloon molly and a red tail shark when my bro moves out hes givein me his 90 gallon i think i we turn my 35 into a saltwater are they hard? i know they can coast a lot but.... how do u set them up?
@Lurk1ngLurk3r i think if your starting saltwater you should use the 90 gallon for saltwater because the bigger the tank the easier it is to take care of. especially if your a beginner 35 gallon for saltwater is really not a good idea and you really would have a lost of problems if you dont do everything perfect. i think the minimum saltwater beginner tank is 55 gallons.
Lots of people are saying its overcrowded but its really not... the tank is 400 gallons its CAN hold that many fish in maintainable confort level & does not have any bug reef, live rock corals ... the elements in the tank may be fake... but its flat out Awesome
it is pretty... but like everyone else said... way overcrowded... ur suppose to be able to enjoy how peaceful and relaxing a fish tank is, and you cant even concentrate on looking at one fish in this tank..
great! can u give me an advice or tips how to keep a nice saltwater tank like u?? since i am only beginner for saltwater tank.. i have my 50 gal saltwater tank now and i want to keep it as nice as your tank. as well as how to keep beautiful angel fishes you have..
my opion ( nobody probably cares about it) is that there should be less fish, and it might look cooler with more rocks. But awesome Tank did you spend like $10000 on it?
Yeah, I would recommend taking about half of the fish out and putting in about 100 pounds of live rock so they don't get stressed out and have a place to hide.
Really nice setup.. Not sure the skimmer u are running, But from the video look's way under sized for the bio load in the tank. Please give the fish more room way to many.
yeh it seems a bit overstocked. cichlids r more the type of fish for this stocking. tho if u look, the fish r generally sticking together. when they do, u see how much other room is left in the tank. as long as the conditions good, and the community is happy, i think its fine. wish i had this setup!
definately not crowded judging by the size of the fish im guessing you did all buy them yesterday at the large size, therefore the fish would have grown to that size in the tank... meaning the tank has quite sufficient room for the number of fish.
too many random fish get rid of the littles and get a badass lemon shark and some bamboo's a stringray couldnt hurt either. Your tank rocks though either way
I want one but it seems like i'd be putting them in jail or something. because they're just swimming back and forth back and forth with no where to go
You Can Take Care of a 400 gallon salt water fish tank. I don know how you do it man but thats a lot of work I only Have a 29 gallon salt water fish and you have a big filter system I understand a 400 gallon tank needs a big filter system and You should really add Ocllearis clown fish I Have two of them they really add a nice touch to aquariums
wow i have a 10gallon fresh water tank just got 7 tropical fish and thought that was cool omg now i know what i need get a 400gl tank lol expensive im guessing over 3grand for that
That sounds like decent price however it is the cost for the actual fish, the materials, the maintenance supplies, the chemical test kits plus ingredients, the feeding supplies, the food and so on......it really and truly builds up. My dad and I (God rest his soul) had 5 salts and over 4 years spent $45,000.....no joking....worth every penny, alot of hard work but it was awesome, and the memories live on and on
