  • I've grown up with boxers around me. My dad has been a boxer breeder for over thirty years and we have a registered kennel with AKC. They're such sweet dogs, very loyal, and never aggressive. They're definitely a wonderful family dog that requires no grooming, though their lifespan is a bit short.

  • Go to your local animal shelter and adopt, not buy

  • getting mine today!!!!!

  • I have a white boxer named bear and he I the best dog I have ever owned! I love him to peices!

  • BSL laws will only work if every breed and mix were banned. For example, when one breed/type is banned, it becomes replaced by another. Irresponsible breeders/owners and the media will get a hold of the new “bad” breed of dog. Also, if a breed is banned, there may be people who would try developing a new breed, or at least a new individual dog, to replace the banned breed. The best thing to do is to EDUCATE folks about dogs and set tougher laws on breeding/ownership.

  • Everybody says boxers are vicious but my wire fox terrier is practically friends with all the ones in our neighborhood, even the junkyard dog!

  • @pockypurse People often mistake Boxers for Pitbulls. Boxers are THE breed for children and families. (If you are willing to take him for walks every day)

They are one of the most playful breed. :)

  • @TrevorDking

Yes they do! As many other molosser breeds with big loose cheeks.

    But you can prevent drooling.

Never give them treats directly. Always place the treat in the same place were the dog eats his normal meals.

If you surrender to giving a Boxer a treat ONCE, you'll be lost. From then on a Boxer will squeal, cry, growl, bark, and look very, very sad and disappointed, just so you give him/her another treat,

They are very aware of the fact that they can melt your heart with that sad look

  • THE MOST LOYAL DOGS EVER!!

  • i watch several of this "breed all about it" and I never hear that there is an actual not so smart dog. is there a stupid dog? (i don't have dogs I actually owned Three Boxers and one bulldog.)

  • i guess you can say - boxers are good guys

    LOOOL xDD

  • So so so so so so so so so so so so cute!!!

  • GORGEOUS!!!

  • got a boxer of the age of 1 year. must say this breed is one of the most energic breed in the dog world. he hates beeng alone. have to use cage on him or else he would destroy my appartment. also damn strong breed so you need to teach them to walk in leach realy early! i can walk my boxer 6 hours and he still is verry energic beeng! But he is never aggressive. so its a kind patient breed! The breed is just way to much for me as a full time worker. So i will get myself something else next time:P

  • i love boxers ive always wanted 1

  • Hî_ÁÑyÕÑë_waÑÑà_chÅt_wïth_mÉ_Í_fËël_sÓ_lôÑÉlÿ_tóÐãý└

  • whatz the best food for boxers?

  • @MrPablovilma

    dog food

  • @MrPablovilma I feed my dog half part dog food and half part rice with left over food.. Instead of throwing everything to trash..

  • @MrPablovilma I feed my boxer Alpo dog food in a can then mix it with kibbles and bits he seems to love it.

  • @MrPablovilma poodles! JK!

  • Our boxer has saved the life of our mini schnauzer by alerting us when the schnauzer fell trough some ice into a pond. Our boxer has warned me of trouble before it happened.I am very impressed with boxers.

  • LOVE THEM!!! THEY'RE THE GREATEST, I MYSELF OWN A BOXER SHE'S STILL A PUPPY ONLY 4 MONTH BUT I'M FALLING IN LOVE WITH HER DEEPER WITH EVERYDAY.

  • I just love the face of the boxer

  • Looked at comment and it's been a year since I posted it.In that time I started volunteering at my local animal shelter and still...the boxer is my favorite! Every now and then we've gotten a boxer in and I always make sure I take some time to play with them.My boxers are now 7 and almost 13 years old...and I love them!

  • Be warned, they are proned to Dilated Cardiomyopathy, heart problems.

  • stop pinning their ears

  • @SuperGreegor STALKING YOUR MOM

  • @SuperGreegor Thank you! Finally, someone who doesn't like Boxer's ears cropped!

  • @SuperGreegor whats pinning thier ears mean?

  • @mikedoles I'm assuming that 'pinning' means the same as 'cropping.' Cropping is when they trim the ears and bandage them so that they stay perked up, instead of lying down.

  • I have 3 at home. They are awesome with kids! I will have a Boxer in my house until the day I die.

  • I lUvvv my boxerrr!!!!!!!

  • Damn need 900$ please make a donate to (paypal):

    novozocker82@yahoo.de

    thx

  • I have been blessed with 3 gorgeous, intelligent Boxers that are the loves of my life! I use to be scared of Boxers because they look intimidating until my husband said he wanted one and we got our first one...it was love at first lick!

  • i had the biggest smile on my face the whole video as i myself have a female boxer chelsea, she is absolutely gorgeous in every way, incredibly affectionate which i love, very playfull and energetic, and so loyal and loving. I love her to pieces and i can see she feels the same as weird as that sounds. So beautiful and innocent you can never be mad at them, i can lay on the deck outside in the sun and she will lay next to me and rest her head on my shoulder and sleep, i reccommend them fully.

  • if the woman was blind how would she know she had a boxer?

  • I was brought up with these lovely dogs, they are protective, friendly, helpful.

I say protective because my boxer once fought 2 rotweilers because of me. The rotweilers were so hurt.

    Great dog.

  • Never met a boxer that wasn't as friendly as a dog can be.

  • i have 2 boxers,Diamond and Ali. diamond is 1yrs old and weighs 72 lbs.Ali has just turned 1yrs old and he is 90 lbs. the more u run them and exercise them, the more they eat and the bigger they get.U wanna stay in shape? get a boxer! oh, and raw fish makes their coat shine like the sun!!

  • i had a boxer named Ali...he was so cute! and very playful but took no bs from anybody

  • Awesome -- My Jada is awesome as well - she just turned 6 and still acts Like A Puppy -- Boxers are True German / American Beauty's !! Mike ( Fridley,Mn.)

  • @KeepinItOldSkool boxer act like puppy till the end, trust me I have a 13 year old boxer and she stll likes to play :)

  • i had to put my boxer down last month, it was the hardest thing to do, i said good bye to my BEST FRIEND OF 10 YEARS! he was the great'est dog i ever had, he garded my family with honor and valer, one of my greatest memorys is when he would chace pitt bulls out of his yard

  • @DethMetalNinja1 ya boxers rule im srry about ur boxer though

  • @DethMetalNinja1 awww im so sorry : (

  • @krazyrockstarpunk thank you, he was a good dog and he had a happy life

  • @DethMetalNinja1 had to put our last one down 5 years ago so I feel your pain. we have two puppies at the moment.

  • if you see them first you may find them funny or even ugly looking but i find them cute lol and also funny

  • my boxers are so cute! one of mine is soooo big and he has a huge head! we took him to puppy school because his dad was smart and his mom was to only his dad tried to fight with every thing:/ the dog is 4 or so and he remembers all of his training but he still acts like a big puppy i forget how old he is!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have a boxer too . i love her so much . they are intelligent but the looks say different . her name is silly . and she's 2 years old . and they don't drool . they start drooling when you start giving them human food . like chocolate . so the story about drooling isn't exactly true . sorry for my bad english . i'm dutch ;)

  • i remember my moms coworkers boxer rosie i loved her ever since she was a sweatie puppy

  • MY COUSIN IN MEXICO HAS A HOLE FAMILY<3 THEY ARE SO LOYAL AND FUN AND CARING

  • To active for an apartment? Im a pretty active person myself and have been wanting one for a while.

  • @dabawla Boxers are very active, you would have to take it for walks or to a park or something. Mine will bother me to no end to play ball. Otherwise he/she will keep you up all night long. Having said that, they are the best breed hands down. Of course I am a bit biased having one myself :D I have owned other breeds (black lab, golden retriever, husky) but cannot imagine not having a boxer in my life now. I will own one (or more) probably until the day I die.

  • i was brought by a boxer when i was a baby

  • Really big babies...

  • lol its like a giant pug/boston terrier :P

  • Baxers

  • What a bunch of angels! <3

  • thats the voice from the announcer of disney channel

  • don't cut the tails :( or if you want that someone cut your tail?

  • @Zuckerspinne Some are bored with short tails. Like my puppy. They didn't cut it. He was just that way. Lol

  • @imurderoreos

I am surprised to read this. All boxers I know are docked. The only "natural" bobtail boxers are bred by a genecist (name is Staynmere?)

Did you get him from a breeder or you saw him born yourself?

  • @Kwizii I was there when he was born. He was the runt and the only male.

  • I LOVE IT...U

  • we have one (our second) and he is right up there with my kids, hubby comes in second :)

  • Theyre such a smart and gentle dog! Ive grown up with Boxer's my whole life, ever since I was only a few months old, and (Properly trained) They are one of the best dogs in my opinion. They are so loyal, and would defend you against anything- no questions asked. My little baby right now, Buster, is the best dog in the world. He has never barked without reason, even though we didn't train him not to, and he hardly ever snaps, but if youre going after me or my siblings, he'll be on you in seconds!

  • Lol, "Boaxer" Funny accent.

  • I have a boxer and hes trained to go outside. He doesnt piss or shit in the house he learns how to open the back door himself :D Hes awesome and so cute

  • Unfortunately some people seem unable to handle the truth. The narrator in the beginning of this vid claims Boxers were devoted to being hunting dogs. The truth is they were originally bred first and foremost for blood sports and bull baiting. Boxers were gladiators in the ring. This history takes nothing away from the Boxer which is probably one of the best breeds anyone could own but sadly for some distorting / overlooking the facts apparently is in vogue.

  • @DaveB951 what i love so much about they are still pure german boxers unlike the german shepards where the america blood lines have changed the dogs alot

  • @cameronukz

That's right when you're talking about the character. The American Boxers have exactly the same outstanding character and sense of humor that European Boxers have.

Only thing is, American Boxers look a bit smaller to me then German and Dutch ones (i'm Dutch)

The Boxers in this vid will just about reach the requiered minimum height/weight

My female Boxer on the other hand was too big; 61cm and massive; 35 kilograms

I can send you a picture my dog. You'll see the difference in size

  • @DaveB951 i dont think so, boxers are anything but a fighter, they are totally affective and behave like a baby they are also not very good fighters, fighter dogs -GSD, Rotties, Pitbulls, Doberman, bullmastiff, standard schnauzer, neapolitan mastiff, fila brasileiro, cane corso period.

  • Boxer dogs are so cool!! Brindle boxer look so cool but I didn't Boxer could be a seeing eye dog. That is soo cool!! I have a boxer dog.

  • I want a boxer!! Can they stay outside?

  • @happyizzytime To Be honest, they aren't made for being outside all the time. They love companionship and like to be around people constantly. So If you are looking for an outside dog the boxer probably isn't the breed for you.

  • @carolina929girl I agree, my Boxer is beside me all the time! And I think they are sensitive to tempature extremes. They don't like to get too hot or too cold.

  • I have a boxer and I love her

  • hi.

could you please do a breed all about it on a staffy?

    hope you can do it.

one more thing could you also do one on a kelpie x staffy please?

    thanks

  • I have a question,I own a boxer,it's 9 months old and it got it's first period when it was 5 months old,it lasted for a month and a half and now the vets say that it's a perfect time to spay her(castrate),because if we don't and if we don't want to breed her,she can get a tumor. We have a small flat and we don't have room for that many dogs and my parents wanna spay her,but I don't want her to because it's a beautiful dog and I want to breed her in the future. Please, give me some useful advice.

  • @silverblondguy3 Some people send them to other houses to get breed then after around a week she comes home pregnant then you can sell or give the puppies away

  • can boxer's live with the same sex without any major problems?

  • @ArnoldSaysRelax we have two boys and they get along relatively well one of course is alpha males but nothing too serious

  • i love all of these clips, and i'd love one on the argentine dogo!

  • A Boxer that came out from a Box!

    Cute dog!

  • i really want a boxer but i will be away from home for about 8 hours a day for work. i heard boxers have bad separation anxiety...is this true? does anyone else leave their boxer home for this long??

  • @turnupthegood55 Some dogs (in general) develop separation anxiety - one of my boxers did it after we moved a few hundred miles - never did it before. My boxer now has never done anything more than an accidental peepee or poopie. I have a friend who had an American bull dog that tore and chewed up everything after they left, and my friend's poodle is literally crazy if ANYONE attempts to leave...

  • @turnupthegood55 I'm a serial Boxer Dad. My first two were raised alone with a yard and had access to the house as they pleased. Neither Cash, nor Dwight had any problems beyond the occasional puppy chew-fest. Amos was a little more difficult. He was with me a lot when he was little and then got a little crazy when I had to leave him. Two months in Doggie Daycare and he was fine. When little, leave them alone frequently for short periods. They adapt quickly. You won't be sorry.

  • @turnupthegood55 Try daycare. They don't like to be left alone. It is a struggle if you are only getting one. If you get more than one they are great with each other, but I have just one and he goes to daycare during the week. He loves it.

  • My aunt has three boxers and they are very loveable.

  • there ok there not the best dogs

  • I love boxers.

  • @notthatbasic

me to :D there so sweet ^^

  • too bad they cut the tails off them..

  • Awesome! I love seeing boxers as service and guide dogs!!!

  • @S13Silviagirl I dont love to see boxers LONG LIVE MALINOIS !!!

  • Very sweet dogs, My grandmother had one, great animal very playful not a bad bone in their bodies. Almost too playful.

Heard a story that a cop shot a boxer out of fear when the poor thing just wanted to get to know him in Nashville TN, this is a non violent dog.

Also if you want one please use the White boxer rescue program online, people breed them for the red color and discard the white ones to shelters.

  • i wud take a white boxer over the red anyday, althoght both colour is good:)

  • @Faelsun A Good thing to know about white boxers. Thanks for the tip.

  • You may say that now,but if you were to get one,you would come to love those squishy faces and even think they're ~gasp~ cute! Believe me,I felt the same, and I now have 2 boxers and think no other breed is as cute and lovable as the boxer :o)

  • @Zoritsa i love them 2 my little old girl isnt at her best unforunatly the cost sooo much to buy another 1!!!

  • @lilbidymore We bought our old man (he's 12) when he was a pup,but our girl we adopted from the shelter I volunteer at...so she was much cheaper, because yes, they can be expensive.

  • @Zoritsa don't they drool a lot

  • @armydude2799 They can...but not all do.I mean, sure if you're sitting there with a huge steak in front of them( or anything they'd consider yummy),I think most would drool, but otherwise, mine don't drool a whole lot.

  • @Zoritsa oh ok yah im thinking about getting one just researching

  • @Zoritsa Is it just me, or do boxers have the softest heads ever. Boxers are my favorite breed!

  • @KoblovskiPurge Soft heads? Certainly not ;-). The head of our first boxer got overrun by a car tire once and he suffered only superficial injuries. Our next boxer was very fond of charging sraight at people and knocked over girls and aunts with his head a few times. I myself remember being hit by that hard skull and wincing as well, while he did not feel a thing :D. Their heads are soft to the touch though, I´ll agree with you on that ;-).

  • No they dont, they ave d most adorable faces n da world..they are the best dog 4 any1, elderly, children, anybody.. best dog in d world...:)

  • they are perma-happy :D

    i love them!

  • I have a 17 mnth old girl and with out a doubt she's d best dog i ever had. I've had a staffie a . pit cross and a jr jr by far d worst

  • strange to see this dogs with cut off ears and tails! In the land of their origin this is out and forbidden and this is right!

  • When they are pups they only need 30 mins of exercise and no they do not smell if you keep them in the house, They have short coats that have a oily soft texture that doesn't require you to give them a bath that often. I only give my dog a bath three time a month or when she rolls in the dirt. When they get older than they need 2 hours of exercise but by then you should be use to playing with them. I don't even notice anymore how long I play with my boxer. Time doesn't matter! Enjoy your dog!

  • I love my boxer Roxie. She is only 1 but she is the smartest dog I have ever owned. But if I could only get her to stop jumping on people when she first meets them

  • Well, there is an easy way to do this. Try to make her sit and stay before you answer the door. once you do have her remain sitting and staying into she relaxes then allow her to get up. If you find someone to practice that with then she'll get it in no time.

  • @quita9486 You have to be consistant you can't let your dog jump up on you and than expect it to know that it's not suppose to jump up on other people. Dogs are smart but, they don't know that some behavior is only exceptable sometimes. If you don't let your dog jump up on you disregard this comment.

  • heh, farty doggys, even in an elevator it's impossible not to laugh while the dog looks at you with its inocent eyes and rips one out =)

  • I have a neighbor who has an intact, male boxer. He has hunted and killed four six month old kittens. I have offered him food. He doesn't want food nor treats. He goes directly to the box where the kittens (and adult cats) are and he barks then he just snapped them up with no prevocation. I can't figure this out, from EVERYTHING I have read on this breed this sounds very out of character. He walks with my mini-schnauzers and a neighbor's daschund. He is a one out of seven dogs my friend owns. ??

  • @user244424

Then your neighbor must have the exception to tghe breed. I have worked with boxers and they are brilliant dogs. You saidhe's intact right? maybe having him nuetred would help.

  • I have a boxer and they are easily the friendliest yet protective dog ever. Easy to train, never use a leash on her and listens to commands.

one thing though, they tend to fart a lot haha

  • so far my family has had 3 boxers Tara, Cali and Pilot. they are a lot of work to trail and have skin problems. when we received Cali, she had mites and it took a bit to get rid of them. Tara lived long past the normal 8 year life span, she died at 13. we got Pilot 3rd hand, he has a few problems, such as eating his feet, puking when wanting out. hes the biggest boxer ive ever met so far much bigger then our 2 females. I dont recommend a boxer 4 a person who has little time 4 walks and trainin.

  • oops not Tail thats suppose to be train

  • Love boxers, but I'll never get one again.

    They're always sick w/something.

The puppy I got from a guy who was going to dump him at the pound, was always sick. I had to take him to the vet twice in 1 month for 2 different suprise illnesses & it wiped me out of $ quick.

Then when he got sick a 3rd time, I just couldn't afford it, & he passed away. I have never in my life had a dog that got sick so often out of no where. The vets couldn't figure out what was wrong him. He was only 5 months old.

  • I've owned 3 boxers and they rarely got sick ... you must have just had a sick dog ... like people dogs can just be ill or unhealthy, it has nothing to do with the breed.

  • @FernandoBoxer

what are your 3 boxers names?

  • Butchie

    Thrasher

    and

    Fernando

  • @FernandoBoxer

    nice names.

  • Thank you! :)

  • Fernando....boxers do infact have a lot of health issues from hip dislpacia to bloat to beathing related problems..especially in hot climates.

They also have the highest rate of cancer in the k-9 world!

  • Yes I understand that and that may be true however, i have never had any issues with any of those things with my dogs ... Butcher did but he lived until he was 14 years old which is very long for a boxer. his health issues didnt start until he was about 11, which is also very good because boxers have life spans of around 7-9 years.

If people live in a hot climate then people need to do their research on the type of dog they get.

  • Whats is the boxer like for doggy ouder...do they smell very much when you keep them in the house?

Is it true they need 2 hours of vigorous exercise each day..cause thats a fair chunk out of the owners life when coming home after work??

Do they bark much for little reason???

  • I bath my dog regularly ... but their odor isn't very bad. They have short hair so they don't seem to smell as much. keep them and their beds cleans and you are fine.

My boxer is a house dog. They don't like the cold or the hot so they make a perfect big house dog. They aren't the type of dog that you just leave leashed outside.

They need workouts whether its walking or playing with them inside. they have a lot of energy.

my boxer doesn't bark much at all but he is trained not to bark

  • Actually its 9- about 14 or 15 years. But great danes are 6-9 years. :) I personally never go by how long a dogs life is. I believe that God is truly the one to decide that so I just have as much fun with my doggy as I can.

  • i was basing it on my own experience.

  • Aww poor baby, its soo upsetting to hear a dog dies at that age.

  • I don't quite like much dogs, but I think boxers are cute ^^

  • cropped ears are normally for show competion, it all depends on prefrence my boxers are not cropped

  • why do some boxers have their ears up, and others have their ears down?

  • dogs who have them up were made to undergo surgery. The dog is put in full anesthesia, and cut about half the ear off on each side. In my opinion, if it's for aesthetic reasons, completely useless...

  • have you guys seen his channel? its all about gay sex and stuff its disgusting!!

  • icyblurb go fuck urself, boxers rock.

  • boxer are awesome!!

  • doberman are better ;) jk it depends on your preference my 2 doberman are amazing

  • icyblub.....fuckin remove your comment

  • icyblub, keep your pathetic no life comments to yourself, no one cares what you think about boxers, their good dogs when there in the right hands. Did you get helplessly raped by a boxer down the street? enough to write that no life crap on this video?

  • u wrote more crap then i did

    gratz

  • @icyblub

At least my "crap" has sense and normality.

  • Shows what you know about Boxers doesn't it. I don't even own a boxer and even i can tell they ain't pointless like you think they are. YOU ARE POINTLESS!

  • got more point then u do

  • u keep telling your self that hun.

  • My friend had a boxer and I couldn't go up to it unless I wanted to lose my life.

  • your not the only one......

  • @KvSfan24 haha

  • @mike101bc 91 with this one and you missed it.

  • i grew up with several boxers and have a few buds that have them now. they all were very gentle. however, they do make good guard dogs since they seem to look like a fierce dog by the general public who may not know that a badass looking boxer really just wants to give them big sloppy kisses!

  • one thing they didn't mention was that they are amazing family dogs in that they know who they can be rough with (adults) and who they have to be careful with (children). and they really can be smart dogs, it depends on how much attention the owner gives them

  • One of my friends was saying he used to have a boxer and his always got him out of bed in time for him to go to school. Isn't that just adorable?

  • @erehgregrhegrhegr

yea mine still does that, she used to sprint onto the bed, but not she just jumps up and licks my face

  • apparently his didn't jump on the bed instead he barked at him and then pulled the covers off him.

  • no, he got rabies remember?

  • why is there not a episode on staffys? boxers and stafforshires are best dogs

  • my moms bf has a german shepard mix with boxer. He uses the front paws more than his teeth. When he has used the teeth it was a warning like a bit without the skin breaking, we call it the handslap bite

  • My friend has a boxer and its quiet possibly the dumbest dog in existence. But we love him anyway.

  • dont say a whole breed is only good for playing just because of one dog you know. i went to a friends house the other day, it was the first time id been to their house and they have german shepherds and they all ran and hid under the porch. that doesnt mean that GSDs are bad guard dogs, i know theyre not, it just means that each and every dog is different

  • no im right. GSD are very good guard dogs but each and every dog is different and some are better guards than others and some arent good at all. just like each individual person is different
