the video could be better if i could hear what they news anchors were saying. the music is a bit loud and it was so distracting that i didn't learn anything about RAN in 90 secs and I was considering donating. Perhaps a re-jig of noise levels would help others with the same problem.
That last part is odd, considering the report released in 2006 by the United Nations that said that the production of meat (ie. animal flesh) contributes more to global warming than transportation does. (Although I'd like to see both reduced.)
RAN protests outside of corporate offices but also negotiates agreements on the inside to hold corporations to a higher environmental standard. The goal of protest is not just register discontent but to push influential actors into doing the right thing.
Intersting, and powerful. One question, though: In addition to your protests, what do you do through legal avenues to support your cause? While protests are good and all, they lend a sort of aura of radicalism to your organization, and when that aura is present, people to ignore you, which is, to me a tragedy, considering the great cause to which you devote yourselves.
So, to reiterate: What do you do, legally, to support your cause of saving the rainforests?

Excuse me, I meant to say "tend to ignore you," not "to ignore you."
