i feel that the comment left by lordkazama86 is a bit of sh**. first off you cant compare joe pass to gypsy jazz players they are two different styles, second of all joe pas came up in a time when there were not libraries full of guitarist to imitate and third i bet this guy never came back from a heroin addiction. and i clearly heard some joe pass lines in there too.
This man has alien fingers. I wish I had alien fingers. This is one of te sickest guitarist iv seen. He's has to be an alien from outer space with those fingers. My fingers are more like fred flinstone fingers im jelouse of this alien fingered man
Är det Fredrik Jonsson på bas? Såg Jojje Wadenius band i somras, och basisten där (som hette Fredrik Jonsson) liknar basisten i detta klippet. Grym basist! Grym gitarrist (Andreas) också, för den delen ;)
Why would anyone give this song a 4 star...you gotta be tripping! I'd like to hear them play this! Obviously, they know the complexities of improvisation of Bebop. Hi Andreas. Much respect, Nathan.
Over the past 10 years, everyone stole from Bireli. I cant name any big name guitar player who hasnt learned from Bireli or stolen something from him :D There is Bireli and Django, then there is everyone else.
And Lagrene stole a lot from George Benson? I think everyone takes some influence from a past Jazz guitarist. You just have to make your own unique approach and make your own style. If you careful analyze it, all have gone into the past to develop their own style.
A few are better, but he is for sure in the top 10 best guitar players of all time. And no, Joe Pass does not make it into the top 10, I can name many other players better than Pass :P 90% are Gypsy Jazz players.
Thanks for sharing with some videos about Sweden. The country really interests me. I would like to know more about it and its language.
I am very pleased to know that there are channels like Speak Swedish Stupid and others that promote Swedish language and culture!!
Thanks
