She's poking fun at the breathy way Olivia Newton-John sang the song. Same goes for her ridiculous accent and the quirky things they do in the song. I guess it's only funny if you're in on the joke, like much of the show. Personally, I think it's hilarious :]

BOTH Cheyenne and Curtis are excellent, just different. Curtis is Cheyenne's understudy, FYI, and had to fill in for him briefly. Curtis is not off key, just different in his reading and vocal range. I think Curtis rules. He is a man of many talents, if I am to believe the list of his skills which I have read on Google.
