@illari09 Hi Thanks For Your Comment ...Sorry for The Late reply...The Music is Called.. Rockabilly or Neo Rockabilly... (neo) as in New... Rockabilly started way back in The Early 1950s in The Southern states of America.. Its An Early form OF rock n roll music.
@slaphappynamwen Hey, Dont worry, better later than never haha,Thank u very much 4 the answer; its a good video, with a very brilliant sound! Ok, Neo Rockability!
@slaphappynamwen Well, in my opinion it is`nt an early form of Rock`n`Roll - it is something absolutely special, a mix with elements of country-music and blues. Remember the early days of Elvis: That`s all right mama was a blues type song written by Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup, Blue moon of Kentucky was a country song well known by many artists, Bill Monroe among them. Or what do you think about it ?
@illari09 there are differing forms of what can be called rockabilly, from the sun recordings of elvis, johnny cash, jerry lee lewis, roy orbison, to the little outback radio station bands, some blended r&b with hillbilly/, other with country, other with western-swing, and here as with gene vincents band, a more jazz feel. and though a predominantly white sound, chuck berry helped popularize it with his faster dance numbers (cant catch me/thirty days)
@gnowave Gracias! Is that, is an excelent interpretacion, I like it so much/ I made a grammatical mistake in my question, but u got it: "I`D LIKE TO KNOW". Thank u very much! Saludos de Perú!
@illari09 i suppose the simplest way to describe rockabilly in its purest essence is to imagine being bored on a saturday with the rubbish on the radio, so you get drunk, or stoned, and play the same music with your friends and scream your head off set it on fire, and bring it to life.
fyi: Jones who originally recorded the track ended up marrying marc bolan somewhere along the line....their product: rolan bolan! i believe is is some type of recording artist, presently....?
rockabilly is a fusion of rock and roll and hillbilly....simple as that

No its not. This is Neo from the early 80's. This was out the same time as the Meteors was founding Physco as a genre.
The followers of this style called them self Hep Kats and dressed in the following styles:
flat top, often dyed peroxide blonde
Box Jacket
Pegs
George Cox shoes or loathers
Bowling shirts

Brings back memories but Dave was never as good as Bob Cotton of the Jets either vocally or slappin' the bass.
evbo21395 3 years ago
Agreed...during the 80s (and still) musically Bob, Ray and Tony were hard to beat - but, this still stands out for the period
