I love that line : I'm tryin to work here ! funny as shit - great clip pretty interesting course especially the stick, foot bridge ? or whatever you call it. that's pretty cool.
you guys have some good ideas for a course. even the ones that fail your rootin for them ... then oohhh. they fall. pretty funny stuff. like it.
hey medic just subscribed and was wondering what your ax10 cost you. or what it would cost me to build a similar crawler. never crawled before. never electric before. all nitro all speed but crawling looks mad fun and i have just the yrd for it so if the ax10 is way expesive whats a good started rig thanks
@84foxracing i have a 1/8 exceed-rc mad torque from "nitrorcx.com" and have had trouble only with my servo(which lasted about 2 weeks of use) and my body (which lasted through all my tumbles, which was a fair amount, until i "speared" the nose) but other than that it has been a very good crawler
hi djmedic! i was just wondering what are the differences on the ENROUTE BERG 2.2 and the NEWAGE BERG 2.2? the enroute berg looks like it has more clearence and flex...need ur help dj medic i want to order one soon but dnt know which one to go for~~~!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Can you tell me a good place to find those hpi tires,. i would go to my hobby shop, but that burned down. so if you could tell me a website or someting, that would be great.
@speedsta95 yeah, cause we have never thought of that in 3 years.. lol ;) Been there.. done that bro. did you read the description? Rovers are great tires on some terrains...
@djmedic2008 I'm just saying, ive never seen anyone win a "big" pro course comp on rock grabbers. But what ever, if you like them that's cool too...........
@speedsta95 oh im not disagreeing with ya man.. thats why i asked if you read the description I took time to write for you guys ;) it explains the hpis.. that all
great video as always. Why is that when the crawlers are on the rocks and abit stuck the front wheels spin but the rear wheels do nothing?. my gmade spider does that.
@djmedic2008 Hey I did get that Crawler King by winning the raffle. So far its been able to do some good crawling, just doesnt have a great steering setup. So I am going to either put better steering linkages in or just relocate the servo to the axle, and go that route. Still also going to purchase a Axial though. I like the Axial stuff alot, and figure i can do more without alot of mods.
@mikemontgomery1970 CONGRATS on the win bro!! Great to have a spare crawler hanging around and the CK will be great for that! The axial is always a great rig as well.. lots of mods for it!
So I've watched pretty much all your crawling videos and would love to start crawling but I have no idea where to start? What kit would you recommend as a good starting kit that I can grow with. I'm no stranger to RC, I fly and have cars just no clue about crawling.
@blowenfuse I have information in the description and on my channel for you :) You are asking well discussed questions, so I created a list to try to help. Thanks for watching, Im glad you are enjoying the show!
@jsk850 lmao ;) I do my best to keep you guys entertained! Its such a HUGE hobby.. im fortunate to have so much of it going on around me.. thanks for commenting my friend.. as always.. its appreciated!
@djmedic2008 your welcome just keep em coming haha in the future as a testimate to the way your vids have inspired me i promise i will have a garage like this haha
@dav1dh0ff Lol.. well its not really intended to have an impossible spot.. as the comp is to see who is the best . But yes.. after 1000's of courses being setup in the garage.. there has been impossible / impassable spots.
Awesome vid Medic, Every time i see Teds garage or any of your videos in my sub box its the first one I watch, Keep making the awesome videos, Really appreciate it.
Nice clip. Do these rigs have selectable axles? meaning, can the operator turn the axle on and off? Seemed like some would only drive one axle, then would drive two. thanks.
@truedeadman Yes - what you are referring to is something called a "DIG". It created a pivot point for the truck - if it needs to turn on a sharp radius. Most of these rigs are $1K or more.. and have a Motor-On-Axle setup - meaning.. one motor mounted to each axle. By controlling the power to the individual they can create a spot for the truck to "dig" with. Thanks for commenting.. and good question.
@djmedic2008 I am familiar with the "dig". I read and watch a lot of full-size off-roading mags/vids/books. I wasn't aware that there was a setup for scale rigs as well. I know that the full sizes use the t-case to drop power to the axle. I'm guessing these scale rigs use some form of switch on the controller?
@truedeadman yes.. you nailed it. we need to run higher end controllers with multiple channels. Our controllers usually run between $250 - $500, depending on model and brand. Some use the Spektrum DX3R and some use the Futaba 4PK. Personal choice and preference prevails to the owner.
@PaganWitchDoctor Thats a question that can be interpreted many ways.. ill do my best to answer.. Lol. If you mean generally who is Ted - he is obviously the owner of this garage - and opens it to invited guests from around our city. If you mean - who is ted in the video - He is the bald fella that almost flashed you in the final second of the video.. lol. If you search youtube for Teds Garage.. you will fins a few years of footage.. Did I cover the correct bases? hope that helped
Where can I get a garage like that? Is it a kit? lol
