It doesn't make sense to have a halal turkey for thanksgiving, when the muslims don't celebrate Thanksgiving. Afterall why would they if its an American holiday. Don't muslims hate the United States for its constitution? its just an attack on the American citizens to enforce halal on turkeys.

Wow you guys are so ignorant. Halal meat doesnt refer to a meat that's bad for you...it's referred to meat that's never been touched with any disease or feces. It's clean in every way, it's cut in the most humanely way with animal feeling really less pain and tht's made sure to not be cut from an animal who was dead from some disease...so are you telling me that you guys prefer a turkey which is diseased, and littered with bacterias and feces??? i didn't know thts how you wanted your turkey =/

It has been proven that Halal slaughter of animals is inhumane(more so than usual), that some of the money that is paid to get halal certifications is being used to fund terrorists, and the followers of Islam are following an ideology, not a religion and just the fact that they beleive Mohammed was God's prophet is blasphemous to Christians!

Halal meat should be Labeled. I Dont want to eat meat killed in the name of a Pagan god ! Im sure Kosher meat isnt allowed in any Muslim country.

If the damn Muslims are going to demand their stupid Halal meat and the meat industry caves in to their demands, I want ALL meat that is Halal labelled so that I don't buy it. I refused to buy a Butterball. If you make a Halal product label it as such. Very deceptive practice Butterball.

Our choices in our own Country diminish while other cultures choices expand. Halal is a sacrificial slaughter to a god that is not THE God.This renders it "unclean" for Jews and some Christians.
