Mercedes-Benz.tv: Cockpit feeling in the SLS AMG

If it was like a jet you have a yoke or joystick, the speed would be displayed in an IAS tape vertically and fuel delivery could be controlled within the cabin. Manifold presure, fuel flow, exhaust temperature would be read out in the panel and lights would be turned on by toggle swtiches. GPS would be displayed in front of you not the the side and there would be a moving compass and direction indicator.

I am designing an aircraft "instrument panel" and this thing looks NOTHING like a jet. Honestly, not a single element is like a Jet. If you have ever sat at the cockpit of a Jet you would realise that not even one element is like a jet.

Now if you had made the airvents like the compression blades of a jet then that would at least be true.

This are marketing people just talking shit.

two things I love in life are jets and cars well sometimes I like trucks trains and other stuff that moves but this car is just like "gadget" you can drive a car but feel like you are pilot flying jet ! and I wish MB would let public drive its cars why cant they create some event to go around US and let people have joyrides ?  there thousands if not millions of people who love MB but will never have a chance to drive one so MB step it up !

they do have some stuff other than cars. check out there merchandise in their websites, you can order them online, or you can find some of them in your local mercedes dealer. I bought some shirts and bags and other stuff from their website in UK, and to be honest they are reaaly quality products, check them out :)

@mrLECHOO hmm. if i think of mercedes. i think of armani :) armani makes really nice suits. it's suits are very modern, but still timeless and classic. they are comfortable, stylish and ofcourse they are good quality. and as the SLS, they cost much :D
