Yes, and that was just a very small sample of what we had. There were millions! You could not hold a conversation outside for 2 weeks. The noise they made was ear-splitting.

Haha I love it!! I would never bring them into my house!! I'm in Illinois and I litterally, cannot walk anywhere without having a cicada fly on me. I have to be dropped off in front of a store or w/e so they don't fly on me!!! And when I can't be dropped off, I run like hell! Very brave of u and ur kids to actually touch 'em!

That totally reminds me of the last time the cicadas came up. I was 12 and my friends and I filled buckets and buckets with them. I loved the use of the Attack of the Killer Tomatos theme... HILARIOUS!
