  • die hardoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • First entering ROH in 2006 in a loss to Austin Aries, Edwards broke out of his shell in 2010, winning a Ladder War match and Survival of the Fittest, both with a SEVERE SHOULDER INJURY.

The storyline with Davey Richards which culminated at Best In The World reminded me of the rivalry between Mitsuharu Misawa and Toshiaki Kawada.

Only in Ring Of Honor would you be able to see such emotion in a storyline, not the one-dimensional crap in WWE. The last time WWE had that was WrestleMania 20.

  • I like Eddie I think people don't really look at him bc of Davy but I think Eddie is very underrated I love the die hard

  • i find the japanese crowds to be realy awkward. i dont get how they can go to a show and be silent

  • @liveandletrock864 Because they respect art. Americans as a culture aren't taught that. We're taught to be pushy, in your face and domineering. Like everybody owes us something.

  • @MrScr3wy the way i look at it is i overpaid for this show, so goddammit im gonna have some fun too

  • i hate his pin, look like he is f***ing this guy

  • haha Genghis Khan 1:58

  • Davey richards gonna beat him :P

  • eddie edwards>evan bourne

  • First ever ROH Triple Crown Champion

  • I'd like to see more of Edwards. I know that he's the current ROH World Champ and that he competed in this years DDT4 (?) but besides that, I've only ever seen 2 matches and a music video. He seems like a mix between Chris Hero, Prince Devitt, Colt Cabana and Davey Richards in my opinion and for some reason, a 1% shade of Diehard Dustin Lee. Any matches you suggest?

  • His match with KENTA is NOAH was real good.

  • @chainsawproof99 His GHC Jr. Title match with Kotaro Suzuki is one of the best matches this year and arguably the best GHC Jr. Title match ever.

  • 2 People were Die Harded.

  • @falgat nah they were Half crabbed held until they said they liked this video lmaoo

  • Eddie Edwards *clap clap clap*

  • Congratulation new ROH champ!

  • Man, did you hear that Japanese crowd? If it had gotten any livelier a funeral would have broken out.

  • cheers to eddie edwards for being the new ROH world champion!!

  • what about a top ten for daviri

  • It has been great to see eddie develop and he has hot some great moves!

    Nice vid

  • @ 1:25

    commentator: henkeirou fisherman DIEHARDOOOUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!

  • @cmhero85 that would be an incredible match! If I had an Indy wrestling company those would probably be my two top stars they are both incredible!

  • he got good moveset first few moves very similar to the moves bryan danielson uses as daniel bryan in wwe atm

  • They really should stop calling it an Achilles lock. Achilles lock requires the blade of the wrist to be putting pressure on the Achilles tendon & trying to hyper extend the ankle. Is Edwards doing that? Sadly no.

  • When ROH first formed the American Wolves I was pissed cause Davey Richards was and still is my favourite indy wrestler, amd I thought that Edwards wasn't good enough to team with him and was holding Richards back, but over time Edwards massively improved both in the ring and on the mic, and the Wolves became the best tag team in the world at that time. Now I'm a big fan of Edwards and think that he is one of the highlights of Adam Pearce's reign as ROH booker (which I thought was good).

  • Could you do a top 10 of Sami Callihan?

  • @JonathanCrossLCWA Word. It's Sami's turn! That cat will be big time soon enough.

  • I wanna see Chuck Taylor from Chikara take on Eddie Edwards representing ROH... Indy Dream Match :)

  • could you do a top 10 of Jon Moxley?

  • I have zero footage of Moxley.

  • @TheSuicidalDragon i belive in u :)

  • If I'm remembering correctly from what I was told Eddie trained with Slyk Wagner Brown because he was the trainer at Kowalski's at the time, but his most development occured at WFA which was Steve Bradley's promotion.

  • Just wanting an opinion from anyone who sees this, including you Dragon, who do you think is the better all around wrestler when it comes to the American Wolves?

  • @Sakima Edwards has his points honestly but Richards is all around just a little beast I swear... They compliment eachother perfectly though thats for sure.

  • All that great footage and his preferred method of ownage is.......a HALF CRAB??!! Well, worked for Lance Storm.

  • I think he calls his half crab a reverse achilles lock...Is that really what it's called or is it just called that because it sounds better?

  • Who did edwards partner with? btw, is there a top ten moves of davey richards vid?

  • Yep, Richards has a top ten.

  • @TheSuicidalDragon oh thanks! btw, Who did edwards partner with

  • @MEOWCI The guy was Bobby Fish

  • IT'S ABOUT TIME YOU GOT THIS ONE DONE! lol, thx for another great vid.

  • nothing like a good ol' submission to end a match.

  • He may be the Jannetty to Davey's HBK, but Edwards is still really good.

  • Fireman's Carry Sitout Facebuster. It could pass off for an inverted Samoan Driver too.

  • Stupid questiom, could you only find like one match with this dude? ow was this literaly the highlite match of edward's career or somethin?

  • Sometimes, I can find what I need for a video in one match, sometimes I use a variety. With someone like Edwards, who has primarily wrestled for ROH over the last couple of years, usable footage of his isn't exactly easy to find, so I have to use what I can.

  • @TheSuicidalDragon ROHBrazil. :D But i do see what you mean, and it works very well, 5*

  • Brazil has a deal set up with ROH and HDNet to use their TV shows. I don't have such a deal in place, nor am I actively negotiating for one.

  • Whats the date that The American Wolves faced Steen and Generico in that tables match?

  • CHIN CHEKAH!

    OMG I love japanese narrators

  • I've met Edwards a couple of times, and his tag team with DC Dillinger in New England Championship Wrestling, known as Sabotage, was a MAJOR highlight from 2004 until he stopped making appearances for NECW when his RoH and Japan careers began to take off in '06.

  • Do you rank these by how impressive they are (difficult to execute, how well they're executed, etc.) or by how often they're used to finish off opponents or how well they're sold?

  • Nothing's in any sort of specific order, but finishing moves and signature moves will be more toward the end of the video.

  • that half crab...isnt it an achilles lock?

he doesnt focus on locking a crab, but focusing on squeezing the achilles tendon

  • The Achilles Lock involves Eddie planting his knee into the back of the victim, and applying almost a standing Heel Hook. He went for it briefly here, but quickly transitioned into the Half Crab.

  • The Die Hard is just plain painful!

  • I'm glad to see ROH is finally giving Eddie a chance to do things on his own. He's really been overshadowed by Davey. I mean Davey IS the better wrestler without a doubt, but Eddie can really get it done in the ring. He could improve on the mic, though.

  • AWesome list, though something felt wrong about the Half Boston Crab being up last. lol

  • Oddly enough, that's his finisher of choice.

  • @TheSuicidalDragon Weird guy then. lol

  • hey sd what is the difference between the quebrad i think and the lionsault aka the springborad moonsault?

  • @festus2999 Just the name. Same move.

  • Likin the Die Hard, great brainbuster variant.

  • A solide performer. Better in team with Richards.

  • it s his true name?.

  • I've personnaly never seen an Eddie Edwards single matchs I truley enjoyed. If he had charisma and mic skills he wouldn't need to be carried by Davey Richards. Then again, he might of gotten betetr since he got the TV Belt, I gave up watching ROH months ago

  • @seb2112 Try watching his match with davey on ROHBrazil's channel.. It was truly the first time I was impressed by Edwards myself..

  • @zigguratmesop I gave up on the ROH on HDnet show a while a go, all you get is one good main event every 2-3 shows, the rest is always garbage and squash matchs, but I'll look that one match up. Still can't believe they had him go over Davey

  • Ha I remember the early days of "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards and good to see he's becoming a bigger name in wrestling.

  • Woot, Eddie Edwards top ten.

Awesome move set, Truely underrated, I couldn't praise him enough to be honest.
