I don't own the camera, I work for Canon tech support. From what I have done with the D10 and the owners I've spoken with, it's a great camera for someone who wants a good quality, easy to use point-and-shoot digital camera you can take anywhere (up to 30ft underwater only). Yes, according to the User Guide, it does have a customizable timer (0-30 seconds) and you can set the number of shots (1-10 shots)
