  • i was there!!! =D

  • Why debate who wrote the song or performed the song? Hey guess what? I perform this song too.

  • muito boa a musica, letra linda

  • John Mark McMillian wrote this song and sings it well, David Crowder just did a cover of it.

  • Not digging this version...plus the fact the she spew the same little speech before her performance in different venues came across a bit shady.

  • @airfuzz4 hey im sry its not a "spew" its a testimony and and incredible song and even tho it is not written by her and david crowder it has great meaning to them and to tons of others around the world. it gives hope and its amazing! i love the song no matter who does it!

  • @airfuzz4 they play the same songs at every venue too ;)

  • This really is incredible man. I love this song and I love the band.and seeing them sing this was really incredible. Thanks for sharing it!

  • when i was at this concert somthing came over me and i wasnt think of killing myself anymore flyleaf helped me see god and saved me and i am so greatful to them flyleaf saved me

  • @robpattinsonwife God saved you my friend.. He loves you.

  • I love this song, no matter who sings it. It is a powerful song and I loved how she gave the credit to God before hand, you could feel this...just a spiritual aura come from her before she even sang, which made the song that much more powerful. Flyleaf may be different but they have an annointing.

  • i no now it was at the hathorn theater in portland i was up fort to lol

  • where is this

  • I would love to see Flyleaf make a worship album!!!!!

  • It saddens me to see the comments on a video I posted, turn into sucha youtube cliche, debating things that dont really matter..

  • I KNOW someone didn't just do the 'Hail Satan' sign at the beginning!!! Grr...

  • Apparently John Mark McMillan actually wrote it--which I didn't know--and there's a pretty incredible story behind it. That's so cool. I love this song.

  • They did it. they made a man cry

  • I like that Flyleaf and DCB change that line about the sloppy wet kiss. But I think DCB makes the best change there. Great song and amazing imagery.

  • they really need to make a worship album...

  • Thumbs up if you knew this is a David Crowder Band song

  • @sirtimofthestrat It's a John Mark McMillan song that Crowder covered.

  • @idriveacaravan Fair enough, but Flyleaf got it from Crowder when Lacey did guest vocals on Church Music

  • @sirtimofthestrat It's actually a John Mark McMillan song. You should check him out! He's great.

  • @sirtimofthestrat It's A John Mark McMillan song written the day after his best friend died, covered by many bands and artists. David Crowder, Kim Walker, Barlow Girl, Flyleaf, etc...

  • @sirtimofthestrat read rockerTeeJ's comment. Its actually Mark McMillan who wrote it first :)

  • @sirtimofthestrat

This song was written by a guy named John Mark McMillan. His version, which is the only original version, is really good. I will leave it up to interpretation about who's version is the best. I can tell you the most honest singer is John because he wrote it and it's from his heart. You should go look up the story about why he wrote it. David Crowder is just to good of a "radio band" to not get the credit of course.

  • @sirtimofthestrat How about thumbs up if you knew it was written by John Mark McMillan and David Crowder Band covered it on Church Music

  • @sirtimofthestrat

Thumbs down if you thought this was a David Crowder band song... because he covered the song that John Mark McMillan originally wrote and performed.

Oh well though, still are great song, and God does love us so its all good. haha

  • @sirtimofthestrat It's not originally by them. ;)

  • @sirtimofthestrat its a john mark mcmillan song, he's the original composer

  • @sirtimofthestrat thumbs down if you didn't know it was a John Mark McMillan song

  • @sirtimofthestrat actually its not a david crowder band song. It was written by John Mark McMillan. Many bands cover it though.

  • @sirtimofthestrat Thumbs WAY up if you knew that this song was originally by John Mark McMillan

  • Comment removed

  • @sirtimofthestrat it isnt actually..... is from John Mark Mcmillan

  • @sirtimofthestrat john mark mckmillan

  • @sirtimofthestrat It's not. They remixed it. John Mark McMillan is the original writer.

  • @sirtimofthestrat It was originally written and performed by John Mark McMillan. David Crowder along with a lot of others have covered it.

  • @sirtimofthestrat this song was written by John Mark Mcmillan. Check his story out on YouTube John Mark Mcmillan how he loves story.

  • @sirtimofthestrat This actually was written by John Mark McMillan, not David Crowder. Still a great song though!

  • @sirtimofthestrat I know this was originally a John Mark Mcmillian song. Flyleaf got it from DC*B, all I'm saying.

  • @sirtimofthestrat thumbs up if you knew this is really not david crowder's song but john mark mcmillan's

  • @sirtimofthestrat LOL! 20 people haven't heard of John Marc Mcmillan. This IS NOT a David Crowder song. David Crowder BORROWED it from the original He Loves Us writer and artist-John Marc Mcmillan.

  • @sirtimofthestrat Dont thumb this comment up. John mark mcmillian wrote this song, and his version is the most intimate praise and worship song i have ever heard. listen to all 8 minutes of it and you will see. David crowder does it no justice what so ever

  • @imagayfox I know this song because of Crowder. I have never disparaged anyone for liking the other version. I know the band got this from Crowder, as they do other Crowder songs and share stories about why. Lacey also appears on the Church Music album 3 times and Crowder does Flyleaf's biggest single ever "All Around Me". It amuses me to see all of with the need to correct me, given the information my comment was made from. Just love the song not correct people for liking a different version!

  • @sirtimofthestrat Im usually not a troll, but you STILL arent getting it man. This is NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT, a flyleaf, nor NOR NOR NOR NOR is it a David Crowder song. You are being corrected because you are WRONG. Your thumbed up statement is WRONG. NOw being mean, im just spreading the facts, its all about God in the end, but cmon, give credit where its due. Its John Mark Mcmillians song.

  • @imagayfox Learn to read. I said I know the song because of Crowder. Not that they wrote the song. I put the thumbs up because I know it because of Crowder. I admit when Im wrong, but I refuse to be trolled when you have an inability to read the English language correctly

  • @imagayfox crowder does do it justice, even john mar thinks so

    tiny . cc/wetkiss

  • @sirtimofthestrat it's john mark mcmillan

  • @sirtimofthestrat or not, its actually john mark mcmilian who wrote the song. Everybody else is just singing it

  • @sirtimofthestrat it was actually written by John Mark McMillian and now made popular by David Crowder

  • @sirtimofthestrat No, it's not. The song was written by another writer and band.

  • @TonyChopperPrime By John MRk McMillian

  • @sirtimofthestrat actually it's a John Mark McMillian song that David Crowder covered.

  • @sirtimofthestrat actually this a John Mark McMillian song, David Crowder just asked if he could cover it. Look up the story on you tube.

  • @sirtimofthestrat he didn't write it though ;)

  • @sirtimofthestrat its actually by john mark mcmillan... david crowder got the ok to put it on his newer cd.

  • @sirtimofthestrat oh, thumbs down! David Crowder is just another singer that sings the song. The song was written by John Mark Mcmillan. You FAIL.

  • @sirtimofthestrat It actually isn't a David Crowder Band song, they (as well as flyleaf, and chris tomlin and others) covered this song. The guy who wrote and originally composed the song is named, john mark mcmillan. The back story of why he wrote the song is amazing. Definitely look into it

  • great song it always hits me

  • AMEN!

  • I saw her do this song live in a concert...and it was incredible. We were in a small venue in Mass, and it looked like my two friends and I were the only ones who knew the lyrics since we know the song from church.

  • wen i saw them this was there last song but i saw them wit tdg n berakin ben n i thought wow kinda weird they would sing this but then i thought about it... a lot of ppl need to hear this song at tht concert LOL... amazing performance

  • I loveeeee Lacy's humility. I'm glad she didn't just do this song without explaining it, I'm also very glad their newest album has a lot to do with God. She'd make an amazing worship leader!

  • That was a moving testamony, and great song.

  • I love how she talks about their humble origins, but there's also such a thing as false modesty. Come on, Lace, you're not a crappy band. <3

  • @jusk8lp yeah, but the Bible tells us to always admit there are people better than us.

  • @Mrose1211 verses?

  • @poethepoetspoet philippians 2:3 says that in humility consider others better than yourself.

  • i saw them a couple days ago and they sang this and it was just amazing very powerful words in th bigging

  • this video brought me to tears...amazing

  • i am in love with this song!!!!:))))

  • i absolutely love flyleaf.
