I love the way he took what was a basic drum part and made it his own with his own series of fills. He amazes me. His playing is really improving. I'd love to hear him swing. How about "Rock this Town" by the Stray Cats maybe? or something similar.

F1CO I get what you mean, it's more fun starting off with trash can lids, and then experimenting with different cymbals to get the sound you want.

Look at Jonah's early vids. He has tried many lower end cymbals before Zildjian offered to help him out. Playing better gear will only make you sound better and make you want to play more.
