I'm probably gonna sound really stupid, but i see alot of people ride like the man at the beginning of this video ( especially alot of professional riders) that don't realise when they jump?? Or they probably do, but i can't see it? Is it a certain type of release or something?

(this wasn't meant to be a dig at anyone's riding!!! just curious lool )

I have a Grange Bouncer horse too. He is funny, clever, and a bit naughty - but bold and talented with a huge jump. He is now 8 and has taken time to mature, your horse is great, but try not to rush him , he is only a baby. It is easy to rush things when you have a talented horse who is so willing. My vet advised me to take mine slowly and let him mature. Google "overbending" or "rollkur" and you will be able to understand what previous people are talking about. You are a lucky girl......

I am going to start some low key eventing this year. He is pretty good at everything so I think he will do ok. Mine is 16.1 , eats like an elephant and at the moment he is a bit fat after having most of the winter off. I jumped him yesterday for the first time since the beginning of Dec and he was great. He is at a jump clinic on Fri and a dressage comp on Sun so he is in for a shock - he has got used to the easy life !

bpresswood is right. Stunning Horse but the hand of the first rider is much too hard. Yours is better- but you shouldn allways try to keep his head down. Its not down in the beautiful healthy way. Dont know the english words. His muscles in his neck will be build wrong if you ride him like that. The Rest is good-

I'm glad you were wearing a helmet unlike that 1st guy on him. I've always been taught to never get on a horse without a helmet and he even jumped without one, oh well its his head thats going to get smashed if he has a bad fall and isn't wearing a helmet. Good job, you looked really nice on him, you 2 r a good team :)

Yes in some respects it is alot harder. Partly because its such a responsiblity! they asorb so much information at this age so if you do things wrong or ride them wonky/incorrectly it will stay with them for the rest of there career, Also he always has his first baby 10mintues when we arrive at a comp or schooling where he just pretty much goes mental then after 10mins shuts up and goes lovley =] Good luck with yours =] x

we brought him from donal barnwell, whos a very very proffesional dealer, he at the moment is working with the funnels and breeds all the billy horses. He has a webby if you type in his name into google =] Erm robbie was £8,000 which isnt too bad as i think most of his horses are around the 20grand mark !

chair seat is bad for dressage/eq/hunters

when you do eventing (idk if the red person in the vid does or not) but when you do eventing a chair seat is suggested to keep your legs in front of you in case the horse refuses...it also allows you to lock your leg more and sitting back

they were fine, he seemed to be a bit unhappy in the head and hes only a 4 year old so you need to give them room to move. trust me I am eventing a 4 yr old at into movin up to pn next yr

Weve only had him 2weeks today! Hes been an abousoloute saint and hasnt put a foot wrong *touch wood!* he even did shoulder in today! haha yes very pretty face but he can look quite freaky when u look at him from a distance lol

Hi, i think the horse is lovely! However i think he could do with a standing martingale for jumping because as he is throwing his head up before he jumps which it makes it difficult for him to make a good shape over the fence, HOWEVER he is a BRILL find! :)

One Dealer you should NEVER go to is ride irish in west sussex thats were corey came from and they compeletly lied and doped him! :)hope that helped xx
